4	Female applicants to be given preference for firefighting jobs: "preference in selection will be given to female applicants assessed as suitable" Male teacher applicants in elementary education are expected to remain silent. As a teacher, men don't need to speak up versus be silent. Play a sport? Look like you can coach? Bam! You will always get a job before a women. It fills the need for coaches and men in teaching. I had 3 men in my college graduating class. All of them sucked at grammar and did far below the rest of us. All of them were hired first. So, not a good comparison.
