I don't remember my exact numbers but it was somewhere around masculine 62% and feminine 58%. I had my husband take it and he's 28% masculine and 61% feminine. Then after we got our results he said, that's probably why we have problems because you expect me to be more masculine and I am put off when you act masculine. So, it turns out the test was fairly accurate on all counts!

Yes, you're right. I have been praying, but it's more of, please let him bring this up. But it's been weighing on my mind more and more lately. I guess I will have to suck it up and initiate some kind of discussion about it.

Thankfully I teach lessons out of my home once a week, so potential embarrassment in front of student and parents have resulted in me keeping a fairly clean house. I have one morning a week that I devote to cleaning, and this has turned into a very good system, actually. I spend maybe 2 hours decluttering from the week, mopping the floors, doing the kitchen counters, the bathroom, dusting, and vacuuming the upstairs. I'm no neat freak, and there are definitely parts of the house that students wo…

Every month I secretly hope that we get that kind of surprise- it would take the decision out of it and we'd just have to deal! It seems like every parent has told me what you did- that you never are truly ready. And every parent also says to have them while you're young and have energy! Honestly, I think my real issue is that my husband is not on the same page as I am. He is still firmly in the "a baby would not be a good idea right now, thank god your period came" camp and I feel silly and a b…

That site is just too much. Did you know you can buy stickers for the dolls, too, to give them blemishes? "Now your dolls can have freckles, acne, cellulite, the occasional booboo, and more!" It would be sad to be a kid today where your parents are like, now Susie, you can only play with that doll if she's not pretty and perfect so give her a zit and a grass stain, please.

If you're posting in the general women's sub you have to remember to format your opinions in such a way as to not suggest one thing is right over another thing. Be clear that your opinion applies only to you, because to have a general opinion on what is healthy or harmful, or right or wrong for a woman to do is judgmental and could be considered "shaming," which is the worst possible thing. No human being should ever have to be confronted with the fact that someone doesn't agree with them. So if…

I came from a family where everyone marries and has kids early, and I always wanted it for myself but I didn't find anyone decent to marry until I was 28. I'm 31 now, and feeling like my window is closing (or maybe closed, who knows) but I guess the culture around me makes me feel like I have at least until 35 or 40 to worry about it. I have many friends having their first kids, and a few older aunts and cousins who are still having children too. So it's been easy to push the biology aspect away…

I hear this all the time from people to justify a divorce, "It's better for my kids to have divorced parents who are happy than parents who are together that are unhappy." How about: it's better for kids to have parents who are selfless enough to decide to make the best of their marriage and be as happy and civil as they can while giving kids a stable two parent home? ...This is why I have to stay away from r/relationships because it makes me incredibly sad.

In my relationship "I don't care" is something I constantly complain about him saying. But this is a great way of looking at it. Maybe it will help me be less annoyed at him!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
