Men have no idea what women weigh. Im 115, guys think I weigh "like 100 pounds". I was shocked when a personal trainer correctly guessed my weight. I've heard guys refer to obese women as weighing "150 lbs!!!!" when they were like 200+.

You can't possibly believe that the only men with good looking girlfriends/wives are contained in a subreddit or think the same way as people on said subreddit.

Medically speaking BMI 25 is overweight. Yes too many are over that. But you think women with BMIs between 20 and 23 are potentially fat. Theyre a medically-described ideal weight

So everything above BMI 23 is "fat". And this is the upper limit? http://www.mybodygallery.com/search.html?gender=female&height=165&age=21&weight=64&pantSize=any&shirtSize=any&bodytype= A woman who is 5'5" and 120 would be thinner than about 80% of young women. It is also less than 10 lbs from being underweight, not exactly fat, by any standard.

Getting with a hot woman in your peer group (age/social class) will always give you some sort of social capital. Dating a much younger hot woman will grant you social capital in certain circles, but may raise suspicions in others.

Yeah a guy whos 25 lbs overweight with a bf % in the twenties can be hotter than average with the right scaffolding, at least to me. A lot of men are more turned on by big breasts then they are turned off by a soft stomach. That being said, if anybody considers you "fat" you're probably under-utilizing your body.

If you are chasing highly attractive women, then there will be good-looking men with charm and resources as competition. I'm not saying social skills don't help... they definitely do. I just think that TRP followers overstate the effect of game because it maintains their devotion/readership.

Absolutely. I just don't think these are the type to seek validation on the internet, or perceive rejection as some sort of persecution.

Only reason Rey beat Kylo is because they decided that introducing Luke too soon would derail the story and focus attention on him. The hairpin turn on the Falcon was pretty equivalent to shooting the small target on the death star, we just have the technology the depict more complicated feats. Rey is the new Luke Skywalker. Both are Campbellian Mary-Sue/Marty-Stews.

If you give somebody a high rating they are notified. If a man is notified that you are attracted to him, and you yourself are passable attractive, he will pursue you sexually--often aggressively. If you find him hot, but arent interested and don't want to be pestered, you won't give him 5 stars.

Doubly so if these "betas" appear happier than they. This happiness needs to be rationalized (hamstered?) away.

I agree that TRP has a cartoonish view of men and women. However, I do think that the gatekeeper analogy is probably closer to the average than your experience. Most people are not as narcissistic as TRP suggests, but they are petty and jealous much of the time. Most people have their ego invested to varying extents in their social success, whether it be securing long term love or sex.

Many of the diseases listed are pretty innocuous and treatable. Some don't even require sexual contact to be transmitted.

These women are chasing top earning men (like top 2%), who are older than the median age of marriage, unmarried. They probably don't want men are divorced or have kids already. The potential suitors are not out chasing 20 year olds and living like James Bond. They're married to a woman like the ones featured in these articles, only they married them 10-15 years ago.

I was given messages everywhere that casual sex was fun, the sexual pleasure was simple. So, I attempted a couple of instances of NSA fooling around, discovered my clit was like a safe that needed to be cracked, and that the men with the right combination of patience and passion don't fall out of the sky. I also discovered that sexual relations create the illusion of emotional intimacy that is not necessarily shared by men most of the time. This self-discovery took maybe a year or two. These guy…

A lot of it is confirmation bias. They pass women on the street 25-35 and the ones who are unattractive are assumed to be over 30. The attractive ones assumed to be under 30. Assuming you have no female friends, how many women would you know intimately enough to know their exact age? Do you the exact numeric age of coworkers? Extended family even?

Dating gets harder for men and women after a certain age because most emotionally stable people who have something to offer and want a healthy relationship get snapped up--typically between mid twenties and early thirties. Sure people have casual sex, but the pool is smaller, and the opportunities fewer. In a culture where extended families don't cohabitate and people leave the nest at 18, your intimate relationships will be the closest thing you will have to family day-to-day. To each his own, …

That's not the behavior of somebody that is contemptuous of you, that is the behavior of somebody that is afraid of you. Have you given any thought to why women are afraid of you?

Exactly... keep that these women have had boyfriends during this period of time on the "cock carousel". Most of the sexual partners they've had have probably either been with a SO or somebody actively "courting" them. Wouldn't the men that actually commit to them get weighted into this average/expectation, especially if it comprises most of their sexual experience?

That's on thing I noticed about men who are sexually unsuccessful. The locker room talk sounds like a 15 year old that just found the grossest shit on the internet and thinks that's real life. Coming out of a 25+ guy, its a clear sign of inexperience, not sexual prowess. Thing is, if a guy is a virgin past a certain age, he's probably developed such a strong pavlovian response to misinformation he sucks at sex in a way that cannot be reformed.

Also, just because people indulge or reenact certain fantasies, does not make them the crux of their sex life. A couple may play with the power dyad during sex some of the time, but even with "kinky" couples is not necessarily the factory default setting. This guy seems lack imagination and sensuality.

I remember reading these trashy type novels at the community pool from like 12-14. I think the rape trope is a bit overstated. As common is the introduction of two love interests, vying for the female protagonist. Sex with the melancholic "beta" is often the ultimate payoff. The romantic tensions with throughout the novel are foreplay. Most of the time the "rape" is the written as the irresistible desire for the female protagonist, who is portrayed as enjoying the sexual attention, even if she d…
