I never took a girl to the movies and had her respond with 1 or two word messages. I Asked her to the movies but she wasn't that interested. I have no problem with women. If it was only her bill then that's perfectly fine. But unless he didn't order anything which is highly unlikely because he was at the table when she ordered then that's the problem. Her paying for her own bill unexpectedly is fine. Her or anyone paying for someone else's bill unexpectedly is not

I said in the situations where the guy pays. I didn't say in every situation the guy pays or should pay. Op is saying that girls go on dates to eat out all the time. Those situations are different than this because the guy is willingly paying for the woman. In situations where the woman pays she's paying willingly. You guys are applauding someone for not paying for their food and forcing someone else to pay. It's wrong no matter the gender.

The difference is in situations where the guy pays he's willingly paying for someone else. He can at anytime say he's not paying for her food. In these situations the other party is being forced to pay for the other. Being rude on a date isn't cool. Dumping the bill and bailing is even more uncool no matter which sex does it.
