Dude, stop. When she first left, i stayed sober as a judge for 3 months, working on myself, trying to get through it. She had me falsely charged with some bullshit and i went downhill. I was consuming a bottle of whiskey every 2-3 days for almost 2 months. I almost died one night, when i decided that i didnt really care if i woke up. My brother found me passed out in my backyard after my family got worried after i didnt answer my nightly phonecall with my mom. Thank god he showed up when he did.…

Dude, its not worth it. My 15 year relationship ended abruptly (6 years married) and im also 33. I have 2 small kids who i never wanted to have to go through something like this. I begged. I pleaded. I got drunk every day for months. I was falsely charged with some bullshit. I wanted to punch my ticket as well. But i got past it. You can too. Work out. Eat healthy. Read. Do things that interest you. Get yourself a support network. Reach out to people when youre down. My friends and family (and m…

A support system is necessary when going through something this traumatic. I had the perfect family. She went through some mental health issues and decided to blow it all up. I wasn't perfect either, but i was always there for her. Having my kids taken away from me 50% of the time was devastating. My family (most) was fucking shook when they found out. I found out real quick who my real friends and family are. They've been monumental in my healing (although nowhere near healed). My therapist is …

As soon as i figured out this wasn't just her leaving with the kids for a week or 2 at her parents to cool off. I needed my support system to know so they could support me. Without them, i probably would have swallowed that bottle of pills i was staring at for a week.

Lmao. My STBX did the same shit. I was financially abusive according to her and her lawyer because i paid the mortgage and all other bills minus her car note and groceries which she paid. I earned 67% of our household income. Im still paying her car insurance 6 months after separation for some stupid reason. But im a controlling, financially abusive asshole because she had no idea what our monthly expenses were when her lawyer asked.

Be careful bro. I haven't had sex with my stbx since date of separation and now have to fight a false sexual assault charge anyways. We weren't fighting about custody or anything and she moved out a while ago. Had the police call me and ask me to turn myself in for sexual assault. Haven't had my first appearance yet, so I don't even know what the claim is/when it's stemming from. Now I have to retain a criminal lawyer on top of my family lawyer. Seems like she's trying to absolutely destroy me f…

Lol depends on the lawyer. Mine required a $250 consultation fee that would be refunded if I ended up using them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
