It does sketch me out, similarly to the effects of general affirmative action. I'll say that I think the effects of it are good, but it's just something I'm conflicted on. Some of the best work I’ve done is with the women in my engineering classes. Where the difference really comes in is what your educational background was. If you went to a shitty public high school (me), you’re going to struggle. If you went to a fancy ass private high school, you’ll probably be better prepared.
