It's incredibly childish to define who is or isn't genuine by the age of their accounts, as if your account was never new here. It's pretty difficult for any new person to support this sub if every single one is looked at with suspicion. Reminds me of the early years of Instagram when kids would argue with each other and the main comeback was saying "dude, you have like 5 followers and I have 32" Don't take what I said at all.

As a woman, almost all of my experiences with other women have been quite traumatic. Bullying, toxic gossip, fighting amongst each other, comments on each other's appearance, even to the point of being driven to self harm. So there may be some kind of support there, but I'd say it's only generally when it benefits them or feminism itself. Women are very quick to turn on each other the moment the occasion calls for it. The men I have met in my life have been supportive of each other. Suicidal tho…
