The man who was attacking her? Women pretty much never do the whole stranger rape thing so he definitely should have acted like a woman.

So you just have missing teeth and removed them yourself like you’re Tom Hanks in Castaway? I don’t think yours is the typical male experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 08:56 AM

Yes, there’s mental effort involved in keeping jewellery in good shape. Part of why I don’t wear it. If you’re expecting a woman to wear her engagement ring regularly/every day it should be something that requires minimal thought to not damage it. Otherwise it’s a white elephant.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 03:34 AM

Don’t forget to make that part of your proposal.

Because based on the demographics of this sub you’re probably like 21? And dental insurance can be the difference between preserving a tooth for 5-10 years vs an immediate extraction, plus no $$ for an implant. Or the difference between being comfortable and living with constant pain.

Keep in mind these guys think in a partnership between a software developer and a social worker, the social worker should do most of the chores because they earn less for the same hours. Women squeezing them for every cent is just water finding its own level.

Apparently it sometimes happens. It seems like a lot of effort for one meal and drinks, they’re trying to work smarter but they’re just working harder. Sad.

I used to be very pro splitting the bill, but now I know it attracts women who use phrases like “American bitches”, I’m thinking maybe men should pay.

Their mothers experienced a massive rush of oxytocin upon their birth and therefore think their special little guys just need to be a nicer version of their handsome, charismatic selves to get women. In other words, they’re delusional.

There’s also an article by Warren Farrell about how men raping their daughters might not be so bad, so his opinions can be safely discarded as completely worthless.

There are also plenty of women who don’t date before the kids are adults or close to it for this exact reason.

Yes, you should also avoid divorce if reasonably possible. One thing people desperately need more education on is that the sparkly fun feelings of love will almost never persist for years and years, so you shouldn’t make long term decisions based on that rather than compatibility in values and goals. There are also ways to make divorce less of a strain on the children, such as the children remaining in one home while the parents rotate.

It sounds like the thing gave you a soft job interview. How do your hobbies fit into your life mission, really? What kind of questions do women ask to size up your economic level? The job question has an obvious reason - we spend almost half of our waking hours working and many people find fulfilment or at least conversation pieces in their work.

Of course. I’m not sure if gay men’s partners are equally dangerous, but they might be. This may also be why men make slightly more false abuse accusations in family court - I wouldn’t trust my hypothetical ex’s new guy either. Blending families in general prioritises the parents’ desires while often worsening life for the children.

There’s also the option to only date casually and keep men away from her children. It doesn’t need to be equivalent, because parents have the responsibility to actively protect their children, not just not SA them.

I don’t see why both shouldn’t be shamed (but yeah, obviously one way more than the other). Honestly, I think we all know that if we had someone in our lives that had power over us and introduced someone who hugely increased our risk of sexual assault so they could be happier, we’d all fucking hate that person.

It really depends on what she’s counting as standards. A lot of people keep most of their standards unspoken because they consider them obvious. eg a standard of “no drugs harder than weed” might be an explicit standard for some and simply assumed for others.

I’d really like to know where your arrogance comes from here. Trad wives seem to think other women are terribly jealous of them. Trust me, we’re not thinking “oh if only I could nab some moron who can’t even follow a recipe”. I guess we’ll just have to settle for animals who are equally useless but cute and fluffy.

I mean, does someone lying to you in order to placate you about your massive shortcomings feel good? Because that would be hurtful for most people, especially when the motive is essentially “I knew you’d be whiny as fuck if I told the truth about how bad you suck / I didn’t want to endure any more clumsy pawing”. It’s a simultaneous statement on your competence and your emotional weakness.

Until relatively recently, being able to rape the other nation’s women was one of the incentives for soldiers to be willing to go to war. They didn’t want the enemy to take their women like they didn’t want the enemy to take their farm.

Some husbands and fathers are so useless that a divorce actually increases their parenting time because they have no choice but to actually engage with their kid every other weekend. It also makes the wife/mother less stressed because it’s one less person to mother and care for. This happens even in dual income homes.

“Most men back then were good people, they were just mysteriously okay with women not being able to vote/be educated/own or inherit property/keep their own wages/have the right to not be raped by their husbands” is a much more incoherent position than “yes, I’m sure women back then would have loved to get away from their shitty husbands and garbage society”. they don’t do much till they learn to walk Except scream relentlessly for milk, nappy changes, and sometimes for no apparent reason - and that’s before issues like colic (pain so the baby screams and screams inconsolably) or croup (coughing, which, you guessed it, leads to screaming). But the elderly love severe sleep disruptions and strenuous repetitive movements, so I’m sure you’ll be just fine.

Damn, your coworker threw you right under the bus. Sorry that happened to you. It’s an uncommon enough occurrence for women to be bigger, stronger and more sexually aggressive than the man that most men wouldn’t seriously consider how uncomfortable and violated they could make you feel, so comparing it to being creepily hit on by another man usually explains it better, though.

There are also intangible negatives associated with having children, honestly. Think of how many people you’ve met that you would be ashamed of birthing and raising if you were their mothers, even when they raise them well. For an extreme example, imagine a pre-suffrage woman spending decades of her life raising her sons who then grow up and decide she doesn’t even deserve human rights. It can be a complete waste of time or even worse than a waste.

Men get flak for saying the stuff I’ve already gone over that is simply incorrect - the idea that their children will be wrested away from them despite their tireless efforts (the vast majority of custody agreements occur outside of court) and the idea that they’ll unjustly lose “their” money (this usually happens because the woman’s career has stagnated from childbearing and primary responsibility). 66% of millennial men in one study wanted their wife to be the primary parent. Mothers are signi…

Then why did you explicitly used the word “worse” in regards to divorce statistics vs rape statistics? It is definitely not socially accepted for women to entirely reject men as even friendly acquaintances. The only rape it’s socially acceptable to protect yourself from is the stranger in a dark alley. If you don’t want to get married, don’t. If you expect your partner to sacrifice career progression by bearing your children, sacrifice it further by staying home with the children while they’re b…

You’re the one who compared them when you said divorce statistics were worse. 90+% of custody arrangements are settled outside of court, so the ex-wife has rarely won an actual custody battle, she’s agreed to a custody schedule with her ex. Financial differentials can be minimised by both of you making different choices. For example, I don’t think a stay at home partner is worth the lack of income unless there are children below school age, so if I had a partner who wanted to stay at home I woul…

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, women are the worst sex, except for all the others. Particularly the one who lies and cheats more, abandons their children more and leaves the taxpayer on the hook, is so emotionally unstable that they commit 80+% of violent crime, is more prone to addiction and antisocial behaviour, and contributes significantly less to their partners happiness than vice versa.

6.5% still seems like a pretty damn big proportion for committing horrible violent crimes. If you told me a certain breed of dog had a 6.5% chance of mauling me in the face, I wouldn’t be around any of them. You also mention that these are self-identified rapists, but many rapists are in denial of their own crimes. Men only want relationships with women for consistent access to sex = men who want relationships with women aren’t motivated by affection or respect or any of that good shit, but by wanting to stick their dicks in them. This isn’t a very sympathetic motive, so when a woman find out a man has just pretending to be interested in her as a person to get access to her body, she will obviously hate him because it’s a pretty loathsome thing to do.

Why would you think he was suggesting you go and leverage your financial power to achieve an unequal relationship? If he thought like that, he’d probably still be in the relatively less scummy business of tricking people into thinking dating apps work.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 08:30 AM

To clarify, you think that women contribute less money to the relationship than a man making the same amount does? Women comprising 80% of consumer spending doesn’t mean 80% of consumer spending is on women’s possessions, it just means women did the actual shopping. Groceries for the family count under that, and so does shopping for kids toys/clothes/back to school stuff, gifts for family members, taking the car to the shop, a bunch of everyday crap that benefits the family.

This data calls one partner the primary earner if they earn at least 60%. That’s not “completely provided for” - try removing up to 40% of your own household income. And if it’s literally 60/40 it’s just barely even being the primary earner.

Any man who seriously does this shit at work is going to catch a hell of a backhand from “karma”, anyway, in that people aren’t going to be willing to work with them. The pattern isn’t exactly hard to see, and the geniuses who shit where they eat then make it obvious that’s all they valued their coworkers for aren’t going to be smart enough to do it once then stop. If left to its own devices inside the uterus, the foetus will develop into a baby; interrupting this process by evicting the foetus feels to some people like killing a baby. Even women who consider themselves pro-choice might not be able to go through with it. Plus those hormones must be insane. Remember they have to be strong enough to stop a woman from abandoning or killing shrieking deadweight who throws the food she’s carefully gathered for them right back in her face.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 09:53 AM

NTA I guess but it’s weird that you allegedly care about this woman, she’s in desperate poverty, you’re a person with a good wage, earned in money with massive buying power in her home country, and you left her with nothing but bus fare. You don’t need to fund her whole life but I’d give even a platonic friend a couple hundred USD in local currency in that scenario.

As I recall, studies and anecdotal evidence indicate that it’s not that doing chores is attractive, it’s that not doing chores is unattractive. She won’t be overcome with lust seeing him do the dishes, but she will be repelled if he expects to be taken care of like a child.
