1	Teacher who performed oral sex on student pleads guilty The thing is a 14 year old cannot consent to sex with a 30 year old, they aren't sexually, emotionally or mentally mature and they do not have the capability to consent to sex with someone in a position of power over them and twice their age. That is why statutory rape charges exist, and it is very much rape, it is no different than a 30 year old having sex with a 13 or 12 year old, where do you draw the line?
