| 1 | Cutler to ‘Soon to be Ex-Wife’I'm just adding context that many seemed to miss. I think the fact that she is rich and famous in her own right is essential context to the story. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 09/05/20 12:44 AM |
| 1 | Cutler to ‘Soon to be Ex-Wife’Yeah, that's why this whole thing is confusing to me. Two rich and famous people squabbling over money that neither need at all. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 09/05/20 12:38 AM |
| 2 | Cutler to ‘Soon to be Ex-Wife’I don't know what your lifestyle is like, or if your only comparing her to famous people, but being a multi-millionaire with adoring fans and decent name recognition is wildly successful, at least in my opinion. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 09/05/20 12:36 AM |
| -3 | Cutler to ‘Soon to be Ex-Wife’Kristin Cavallari isn't some nobody. She was hugely famous before they dated. Seems like a lot of people in this thread don't know who she is and that she is wildly successful in her own right. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 08/05/20 02:01 AM |
| 1 | Crosspost from r/murderedbywordsI’m confused. Do you have an issue with him exercising his right to defend himself with a firearm? | /r/PussyPassDenied | 12/01/19 03:53 AM |
| 8 | Crosspost from r/murderedbywordslol | /r/PussyPassDenied | 11/01/19 09:53 AM |
| 31 | Crosspost from r/murderedbywordsCome on, throw some equality in there and mention the white nationalists marching in the Carolinas. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 11/01/19 09:40 AM |
| 2 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...And I'm here to tell you that it can be detrimental to the cause to set your neighbor's house on fire in retaliation because then you make yourself the bad guy. I'm here to tell you that this subreddit needs to be careful with how they vent their frustration. A little bit of tact goes a long way. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 09:24 PM |
| 1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...This is perfect timing. Check the frontpage and you'll find this: http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/w9u10/its_sexist_to_say_men_have_no_say_in_pregnancy/ | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 08:57 PM |
| 1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...The guy above is proposing setting the world on fire so that more people care. That is wrong. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 08:50 PM |
| 1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...You want to make it the social norm? That's the worst idea ever. Why make the problem bigger than it already is? You don't cure cancer by spreading it and you don't fight fire with fire. we need for it to work is many small instances so it's part of everyday life I can't believe you want to make injustice a part of everyday life. This will accomplish nothing but to make men's rights look bad and provoke the feminists to fight back. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 06:58 PM |
| 2 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...I'm sure I have. But I went through all of the top posts because those are the top posts of the subreddit. I am happy to tell you that the majority of the content was fine. But to an outsider looking in, the few bad apples spoil the whole bunch, just like over at /r/Feminism. My post is simply a warning that the content of this subreddit is and will be under greater scrutiny than most others because we are fighting against many social norms and common practices. We have to give people a good rea… | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 06:52 PM |
| 0 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...The post was a list of shit that the OP took offense to. On that list was abortion. The comment was about how Energy Turtle had experienced some of the items on the list, one of which was abortion. How is that pulling at air? It's all right there. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 10:56 AM |
| 1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Just understand that many people will see this as an overreaction and ridiculous view the people involved, being this subreddit, and what they stand for, being gender equality, in a negative way. That should be considered a bad thing, and that is the purpose of my post. I'm just saying that the content of this subreddit, just like its counterpart over at /r/Feminism, are held to a different standard and have to be tactful with there posts in order to not lose general public support. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 10:32 AM |
| 0 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...The only way that works is if it's made public and gets attention so that it can spark debate. Otherwise it's just vindictive and unnecessary. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 10:23 AM |
| 0 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Second to last item Second highest comment I wasn't lying when I said I saw another post. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 10:20 AM |
| -1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...I most definitely don't think I know best, my whole point is that it doesn't matter who or what determines what is or isn't important in men's rights. My point is no progress will be made if the general public is alienated from the cause because of an overreaction like this. If you want this subreddit to be an agent of change, then you must be on the public's good side by not seeming too radical or drastic like the feminist movement does. As a newcomer to the subreddit, and other newcomers are a… | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 08:00 AM |

| -1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Because, just like with the feminist movement, it alienates literally everybody else. If you want to see Men's rights improved, then you should be willing to bite the bullet for the greater good. I don't want to see this subreddit, and gender equality activists everywhere, to get a bad name because of some people on the internet had a bad day at work. This exact thing happened to the feminist movement, and look how everybody views them now. Having an office policy on taking complaints from men s… | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 07:02 AM |
| -1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...I'm arguing that no lawsuits should be filed, no matter which gender is the target of the joke. It's a joke. Nobody should have their livelihood ruined over someone taking a joke badly. "What is freedom of expression? | 2 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...What are the priorities of this subreddit? Because I was under the impression it was the advocacy of gender equality. In the example I provided, there are two ways equality can be met: 1) The sender of the email is fired, as are men in a similar situation. No progress is made. 2) People realize that it's a joke, get on with their lives, and no one loses their jobs/gets sued. Progress is made. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 06:19 AM |
| -1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Fine, I used a bad example. I just didn't want to bring up Gandhi because that's a cop out. There are plenty of examples of social change happening in the absence of violence, or aggression. If they were advocating firing the woman responsible in order to make an example of the hypocrisy of how society views the genders, but they weren't. They were being vindictive and vengeful, nothing more. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 06:06 AM |
| 1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Exactly. I saw another post that included something about how men can't stop the mother of their child from having an abortion, implying that this is a bad thing. So we should be able to force a woman to go through the excruciating pain involved with childbirth which also permanently changes the woman's body? Should a women be able to prevent her husband from getting a vasectomy? Of course not. This subreddit needs to advocate gender equality, not propagate a war of the sexes. | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 05:45 AM |
| 1 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...You can call me a utopian fool, I'll call myself an advocate of change with a little optimism. Yes, men are fired. And we used to have slaves. Social norms change, I'm trying to advocate change in the right direction. You, on the other hand, are advocating an endless cycle of men and women being at arms. No one would win a battle of the genders like the one you are advocating, and surely you see how that would be the case. A certain South Park episode comes to mind, if you have the time I highly… | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 05:39 AM |
| 0 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Which is why I'm advocating that both jokes about men and jokes about women should be accepted. If we want any change, let's make it be in the right direction, not toward a society where you can't make fun of the genders. I don't want to live in that world. I want to live in the world where men and women laugh together without fear of prosecution. Is that too much to ask? | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 05:17 AM |
| 2 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Thanks for your input, now I'm going to refute it: I have seen someone else get fired in this way, and it's not funny. So you should know exactly what I'm talking about. It isn't funny. And yet, this subreddit collectively advocated that exact thing. A joke is no longer a joke when a man gets fired for making it but a woman doesn't. My point is that NO ONE should be fired from a joke. It's a joke. Get over yourself. Instead of advocating vindication, let's advocate a world where this isn't an is… | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 05:14 AM |
| -5 | Found this subreddit, checked the top submissions to get a feel for the community...Yes, but that wasn't the only link I clicked on that was disheartening and the comments were void of any reason. This subreddit seems to be choc full of hypocrisy, which can only hurt the cause of gender equality. Edit: I'm not insulting this community. I'm simply pointing out that from an outside perspective, seeing this type of stuff is only going to alienate people from the cause. Don't complain about something and then turn around and do it back "for the sake of equality." That's simply juve… | /r/MensRights | 09/07/12 04:57 AM |
