I enjoy MGTOW reddit for what it is, but it would be so much better if the self-improvement and personal development TRP posts migrated over there.

Right. So a company's BoD could qualify as protected speech and peaceful assembly and shouldnt be subject to regulation ('congress shall make no law abridging...') Maybe Im misinterpreting whats being said here

In other news, LinkedIn just redesigned their recruitment platform to promote gender diversity. I guess their algorithm was focusing too much on achievement and merit and not enough on superficial physical features

If anything this should be seen as an achievement, since girls are supposedly given less access to education than boys in 3rd world hellholes

Has anyone tried to A/B test the hiring process of techy/quant jobs for males vs females? Im currently in between jobs because I had to deal with some personal issues. Im only a few years out of school so my career is really just beginning, but I do have some decent consulting experience, software skills, and a STEM degree (operations management) from a top program. Its been a few months and Im having trouble making it through HR to get interviews for analyst jobs that I know Im qualified for. I…

Economics isnt bullshit at all, but I also dont think Ive ever met a girl who understands economics thoroughly enough to qualify for an advanced degree Graduate degrees are mostly worthless for women. They can get hired in almost any field they want especially STEM with bare minimum qualifications because quotas and gender gap pressure. They dont need to put any additional work in to stand out because they already do by having the XX. What a charmed life

And its noble to have such a large superiority complex that you feel the need to champion someone elses struggle because they obviously dont have the capacity to stand up for themselves and prove their meddle? Whats so noble about having such a strong yearning for acceptance that youre willing to compromise your own sense of identity and self-worth for the sake of another group which will never truly appreciate or respect your sacrifice?

Dude how do these Tinder guides keep leaving out the #1 rule? Set your distance radius to the lowest value. When a girl outside it swipes you right, she still ends up in your queue. Saves so much time and bullshit by minimizing the list of profiles to swipe through. Works pretty much the same way on Bumble too

I think its a closer comparison to the 'girls dress for other girls' axiom. Guys naturally respect other guys who are strong athletic and in shape. That gives status, but its driven by us, not women. Lifting will help with girls but only so much - theyre not going to automatically go after the biggest guy in the room if there are other guys around who work out too. Just like girls dressing nicely will help with us, but theres a point that it stops making a difference b/c we dont notice all of th…

I was in the same position as you when I was your age a few years ago, before I knew what TRP was. I tried to convince my Mom that I should take some time off from school but she didnt let me. The grass is always greener, but I still regret not doing so. College is not a magical guarantee of success. A lot depends on how much effort you put into it and how motivated you are to make the most of the experience. It sounds like you dont have that right now, and inspiration isnt going to miraculously…

Modern western society doesnt challenge women to develop and mature the same way it does with men. Women are simultaneously considered to be weak, delicate creatures while also 'being strong and independent'. The truth is somewhere in the middle, but they are allowed to play either side whenever it suits them best. They cant lose Meanwhile its the opposite with men. Any vulnerability or victimhood is disregarded as weakness while exercise of power and authority can be shouted down as imposing, a…

That and a high school diploma / GED should be the only requirements. There are overachiever 16 year olds who are employed and driven enough to qualify for early graduation and theres no reason their age should prevent them from having a say in government. Meanwhile how many millions of high school dropouts on welfare show up at the polls every election to ensure that they can continue to not make any effort to improve their lives or the world around them?

America needs more vocational schools. Too many dumbasses are going to college to enroll in a bullshit major while taking on $50K+ in debt and then proceed to spend the entire time getting drunk and doing the bare minimum to get a degree

If abortion is legal then the father should have the option to forgo all parental rights and obligations within a reasonable time before birth (basically an abortion for fathers). Pro choice women seem to hate this idea whenever I propose it to them for some reason though

Cops are 14x more likely to be killed by a black person than they are to kill one. Young adult black males are ~2% of the population and commit ~50% of the violent crime in the US. Youre cherrypicking individual cases of black people being killed or shot by police, some of which were pretty fucked up and some of which were completely justified or at least understandable, to claim that the country is racist, but those statistics I mentioned above paint a much better picture of why those situation…

Natural hormone level discrepancies are one of the main things that make us different from others. A weird fact that I learned a while back is that NFL players have above average levels of both T and Estrogen. Some ppl just produce more than others

If Feminism is cancer then the UN is HIV/AIDS. Harmless while it infiltrates your anatomy, then all of a sudden will neutralize the entirety of your defense mechanisms when outside threats invade. And once youve made contact with it, you cant get rid of it. All you can do is learn to live with it as it transforms you into a shell of your former self. Ditto for the EU.

If the only reason you are hanging out with people is so you can have people to hang out with, you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Theres nothing wrong or weird about temporarily withdrawing your attention from socializing to focus 100% on making yourself better and more interesting. If you feel shut in or get bored, go do something out of the ordinary and outside the box to mix it up

I think youre underestimating how widespread the TRP and Jordan Peterson's ideas are becoming among guys in the 15-25 age group. Most millennials missed the boat and are too old to really change anything, but the younger ones and gen z are coming of age with a lot more knowledge and tools at their disposal. There will be a tipping point.

Im a product of this type of thinking - as in my mom was 44 and single when she had me. I have a strong opinion that women who havent found a mate by that age shouldnt be having children. Not only is it dangerous from a physical and biological standpoint, but it shows that they have severe deficiencies in the underlying skills which will nurture their offspring into healthy, stable, independent, functioning adults. My mother is neurotic, cold, controlling, and self centered. The fact that no one…

Id spend a gap year or two before going to college doing what you described above - low skill low income but interesting and nontraditional work. When you do go back to school youll be older and more mature than most of your peers and will be able to better take advantage of the opportunities college can offer. Dont completely discount the 'traditional' path yet because the vast majority of guys really dont have their shit figured out when theyre teenagers, even if theyre convinced that they do.

Theyre different sides of the same coin. MGTOW has a scorched-earth attitude about not dealing with women while TRPers use their newfound understanding of gender dynamics to get better results with them instead of just pulling the plug. What attracts men towards one vs the other is usually just age and previous experience

There actually is at least one professional female chess player - Judit Polgar - who has beaten highly ranked men. The catch is that she and her sisters were specifically raised from birth to be chess prodigies by their father as an experiment (he was a sociology professor). Really interesting story and says a lot about nurture vs nature

I dont hate women, though its easy to, and I dont think its worth it. Theyre just acting on their natural female biological instinct, which you really cant blame them for doing. If youre going to hate, direct it at the simps and society at large for enabling the bullshit and perpetuating false narratives.

Im a millennial. For basically our entire lives, school and otherwise, it has been bashed into our heads over and over again that racism=bad. My generation is hyper-sensitive to it and theres no critical thinking involved to figure out what true racism is and why its bad for society. Its just knee-jerk at this point. The worst are the people who will screech about how racism is different from prejudice and thus minorities cant be racist. Those people are the dumbest motherfuckers who have ever b…

Yea it probably depends alot on the school. Where I went, if you didnt go out the first week you were more or less fucked. I agree that school is important (and gets ignored too much) but its way easier to give academics the amount of focus it needs if you have your social life set up

Disagree - the first week or two is the only part of the semester youre able to get away with partying as much as you want, and it's also the easiest time to meet new people and upperclassmen because as time goes on everyone will close themselves off into their own little groups. Definitely dont blow off your schoolwork but if you want a robust social life that time period is pretty critical otherwise youre playing catch up.

Number 1 priority is building and keeping a few months worth of liquid savings so you dont have to think about living paycheck to paycheck. Dont even think about investing until you have some breathing room. You should definitely consider crypto. Its a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy in on something that will fundamentally change the way the world operates. Dont listen to the naysayers. They either dont understand it or have a vested interest in an existing product which it threatens. Im n…

I forget the term, but for the fat girl its an example of when girls believe that guys follow the same rules of attraction as girls do. Girls judge us heavily on who we surround ourselves with and who our friends are. In this case the whale is mistakenly assuming that guys do the same thing with girls, and since she is friends with a smokeshow we will somehow think shes now on that same level. Other examples are when guys wear makeup or send shirtless mirror selfies / dick pics and when girls tr…

The sooner you can mature and become your own person the better, and if your parents cant understand that then you shouldnt take their opinion seriously. They should want you to do what is best for YOU, not what is best for THEM.

Im a couple years out of college (I went to a similar school), and everything written above is more or less how it works. However, I dont think its necessarily great advice and you shouldnt take it too seriously. You really dont want to be whats known as a 'try-hard' - its easy af to notice and its extremely off-putting. Worrying too much about your social status and things like never eating alone and making sure youre associating with the right people is a great way to make everyone hate you - …

Best Tinder advice Ive ever gotten is to lower your radius to the lowest possible setting. If a girl outside it swipes you right, they still show up in your feed / queue / whatever. Total gamechanger in terms of the amount of time you spend on that app and where you prioritize it in your life. Also works in a similar way with Bumble

Honestly, if you really think your situation is as dire as youre making it sound, take a break. Switch it up. Spend a year working or traveling or doing something away from the norm and what society expects from you, which in 2018 is high school -> college -> working 9 to 5. Itll expand your life perspective, make you more interesting, and youll be one year older wiser and more mature when you go back to school.
