This comment would be good if you removed the personal insult. Statements will have much greater impact on both subject and audience through disciplined restriction of your words. Stay the hell on topic. Children bicker. Adults discuss relevant context.

Staring and swearing? I sexually assault my friends on the daily.

Men fall victim also. But knowing that, just play the game and have a blast. Everyone puts their best foot forward, just do the same, relax and enjoy.

...he acts like he doesn't. Don't bitch, just play the game. Of course people put their best foot forward. It's just normal... of course people have a poker face, its how you play fucking poker.

I've accomplished lifetimes of success off a revenge play. Whatever works to get you off your ass. Eventually it will be from within but if you have the energy to redirect to something productive, have at it. The internal strength to simply let your conscious mind drive the body is not something most people have from day 1. For most people, the body drives them and they have minor input on the direction. Eventually you forge the iron will to act on your own accord. But your own emotions are powe…

You can't believe the marketing. No car is a great as the commercial makes it look. No person is as great as they appear to be. You are comparing your average to other people's highlights. Remember that and you will be fine.

Or just move all your assets to an offshore trust and never tell a soul. She can go bananas if your net worth is 0. Now you can get married and divorced as many times as you want with zero negative effects on your access to resources.

Exactly. Frame is pre-deciding you will take action if a set of circumstances is met. This creates your standards and your predefined consequences for noncompliance. The rest happens naturally. Early corrective action reduces escalations and sets boundaries that resonate in people's minds.

I have seen it happen, but that is because it is survival for people that want to stay in my circle. I see the same irrationality of females with many males as well. I demand nothing less in either situation. Account for your actions or you will be left to the cold.

Good point. I personally enjoy playing music and sports much more than passively being a spectator. Built into my character I suppose. However, the better I get at a particular skill, the more I end up appreciating the art of being a student, teacher or spectator. Most spectators I know do much more than just aimlessly watching other men's accomplishments. There are so many layers and shades of grey of spectator sports. Hard to know each person's individual takeaway. Sure there are mindless moro…

Correct. Billions were made but it wasn't direct oil purchases or sales. Very few people take time to learn how the world works. I'm convinced most truths could smack a person in the face and they will still carry on believing their easier to digest Kool-Aid. Hard truths hurt and people avoid pain like the plague. That's why the iron temple is so central. It teaches the lesson that some pain is good and is necessary for the development of physique. The lessons carry over to mental development. T…

People are not robots. They are a stew of emotions and thought. Many do not even have the awareness to know what their relationship is about. Most love, except for love of your children or blood, is run on NRE and that primal feeling of true, powerful attraction. If you want something deeper, it must be built in a foundation of common interest. No one tells the truth when they say "I'll love you forever" because no one can know the way they will feel in the future. Will you still love her if she…

Good on you. Progress was made because you were open to it. Taking some inspiration away from this post personally, refreshing to see an honest journal of transformation.

Read the verses, they all say exactly that. If you go to the early Greek (Septuagint) and especially the original Hebrew (Masoretic), it becomes even more damning of an argument. And yes, sociopaths are included as well when talking about evil, unless they are excluded from salvation? Speaking of evil, here is an example of how evil humans can be (NSFL): https://ripeace.wordpress.com/2012/09/14/the-murder-of-junko-furuta-44-days-of-hell/ (NSFL) Purely from a non religious argument, a person is w…

Perhaps I am reading it wrong: Genesis 6:5, Genesis 8:21, Job 15:16, Jeremiah 17:9 Someone who does evil things (sins) is, well, not good. Is it that far of stretch to call it evil? If you are truly repentant, would you not feel shame for the sins you have done? This fellow sure seems to think so: Jeremiah 3:25 My argument is that in Christianity, there is an impossible standard. Even after being "born-again" and accepting a belief in Christ, every person still sins. Thought crime is a sin (cove…

Shame is built into Christianity. Sinful nature and all, you must be redeemed because your natural state is evil. You identified the problem, but the problem is tethered to the belief system.

You may be underestimating the genuine belief some Christians hold. To the devoted ones, it is the most real thing about them. Catholics generally do not actually hold true, gut wrenching beliefs in my experience. To the majority, it is the casual religion based on tradition. Religion is for Sunday only. But for the sing song, hands in the air type devotees, religion is truly their life for some of them. It is their high. Some do very much believe in it with all their heart. That is a broad stro…

For those who tried to find the post referenced, it is "/u/friendlysociopathic" not "/u/friendlysociopath". OP may want to correct it for archive purposes.

I look at most employees the same way. There are the few that are exceptional I can mold into true makers, but the majority are unawakened drones without the faintest desire to seek out a deeper understanding of the world they live in. That doesn't mean they aren't useful to have around. You need to provide them with rules, structure and an objective that helps make them productive in exchange for what they desire: purpose, belonging, success and wages. Woman are the same to me. If you are in my…

Wow. That just clicked for me. The feeling of stepping back and looking at the complete mosaic after years of only looking at individual tiles. Great post.

Unfortunately true. But that's where you apply strategy. When I was young I used older people as proxies to close big business deals because it got 10-20x the revenue, for the very same contract offering. Their only skill was being good at idle conversation and pretended like I was their staff member, when really it was the other way around. Worked way too well and made a lot of money doing that. Now I hire young people who are actually more skilled than me. Leverage the position you are in. Stu…
