Hello! I would love that, I haven't met anyone like me here before! I understand not wanting to raise children here, but coming from Australia, Portland kind of just reminds me of a big Melbourne if you know who to avoid!

You cannot judge her for the mistakes of her mother. That's cruelty. If you know you're not worth submitting to, then how can you expect her to want to submit? We aren't all perfect; and most people who start with the Surrendered Wife certainly AREN'T at the beginning, but it sounds more like you're looking for a way to muzzle your wife instead of attempting to nuture her heart and allow her the grace to want to be the woman she has the potential to be.

Hello! I met my husband five years ago, on Twitter! I liked his music, he liked my art and knew some of my friends in my home country... the DMs started, and we started playing World of Warcraft together. Hello, thank you merel! <3 I am not really, I was raised Catholic but I do not hold those beliefs anymore. I will maybe try a book club! I've always loved talking about books, and there are many yoga places around! I know my local spa/gym has women's classes but I have been too nervous to sign up, perhaps I should!

Yes, we are in Portland city proper! A lot of my future husband's friends luckily share similar views/do not care to harp on about the travesty of the day or feminism but sometimes it seeps through and I find it more useful to be quiet and just politely let them rant. I will try to find more communal friendships! I enjoy leatherworking and cooking! My man hunts and he has told me one day he will take me out on a hunt, he often brings me back bones and things to carve with. :) Why not? :(

Merci beaucoup! Je ferai de mon mieux, peut-être que mon inquiétude d'être mariée me fait m'inquiéter pour rien! Je vais lire Fascinating Womanhood! Et merci!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
