Disagree. I'm someone who's tall, masculine, with boyish good looks. Girls are always surprised because I'm a total comic book geek who's into pop culture and film. It provides uniqueness that I enjoy. Ultimately it comes down to matching what you like best, since self-confidence is the key. I'd feel like a douchebag if I had to put on a jockish-alpha male facade to match my look.

In the past and I suppose now I have a tough time keeping a girl interested. I've been told I'm a super good-looking guy. Usually when people see me, they say, do you know who you look like? And then name off someone along the lines of Dicaprio/Efron/Pitt/Hemsworth. I'm being truthful here. I'm over 6 feet tall as well which is a plus. All of this advice is kind of bullshit. Granted, the friend zone exists and once you're there it's difficult to escape. However, a ton of you are basically implying that you should be hitting on every single, hot girl when you meet her, regardless of compatibility. I guarantee you a ton of the people …

Overall, a solid article. The only thing I would be weary about when embracing awkwardness would be making sure you still value yourself as a respectable person. Don't become a parody and fully embody the awkward archetype. Sure, awkward moments will happen throughout your life, but deal with them when it happens, don't go instigating it all the time like "Er Mah Gersh I can't shake hands evAr! El oh el" is your default personality.

Interesting. I've been doing a lot of soul searching recently and experiencing growth as an individual. I had a sentiment very similar to this that I put in different words. I recently got hired in a new job. I viewed my boss and the coworkers around me as having their lives together and knowing all the answers. It took time for me to learn and even feel adequate at the position I was hired for. In the past, I've excelled at what I put my mind towards, but I still felt if put on the spot, I'd cr…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
