Has there been any research on the impact of this gender preference for girls? I am asking because the reasons for the gender preference for boys being a major issue is because of its impact - abortions, forced abortions, abandonment, divorcing / abandoning / killing women who give birth to girls etc.

Curious what would the thoughts here be if the woman was in a state where abortion was illegal (or the ridiculously short timeline was over) and there was no way to get an abortion.

If you read these articles the conversation is around how notability is vague. This vagueness of notability allows bias and justification of bias to be easier. This causes women who are equally notable as men who have articles on them to be ignored or even have their articles deleted. For eg.
