I think in a couple of generations it will be more possible. There is a cultural shift happening regarding encouraging males to express themselves. Today’s men were raised by the children of “boomers” so they were heavily instilled with the Stuff Your Feelings mindset by their fathers and most of their male peers. “Man up” “don’t be a bitch” all that stuff. I think men are generally as emotional as women but if a man shows his emotion it is seen as a weakness. It’s evolutionary traits. How many centuries have women been the nurturers while men went to hunt or go to war. Society is only recently changing, like within the past 100ish years. It’s going to take a long time for evolution or dna or whatever to adjust
