Ah, yeah I can understand that. At that point I think the flag to look for is how they treat something they don't have a preference for, regardless of whether it's a cat, dog, iguana, children even, etc. You're right, that a person shouldn't show disdain for another living being simply because it exists.

But... but... I don't like cats. I don't hate them, but just would never have one as a pet and prefer it when they ignore if I'm at someone's home who has them. My husband doesn't like cats either and he's pretty great? Idk, not a red flag in my book. Edit: lol, downvotes cause I don't like cats. 10/10. I'll take it.

Is it the commodification of the human body? Yes? It's shit.

Oh my god, you're brilliant! Let's see how quickly men back peddle their "pro-life" stance when they have to pay for it starting at six weeks 🤣

Yeah, I think Nietzsche gets a bad rep because of the stupidity of the people who read his works. What ways did people think they love him and then have their bubble burst? I'm curious

Ooof. This hits hard. I only just recently experienced amazing, intimate sex. It was life changing. I'm definitely not in a place in my life to have a relationship right now so I'll be sticking to hooking up for now, but I will NEVER go back to mediocre sex again. Once you've felt safe, and cared for, and respected during sex, I'm not sure you can ever go back.

I'm glad that's helped you! Maybe once I'm in a more financially solid place I'll be able to pursue that route 👍🏻

Okay, so I really struggle with this. I think I'm an avoidant type and I know it's based on my own insecurities, but I just don't know how to get over it. It's not a huge problem for me right now because I'm mantourage dating, but in the future I know it's going to be difficult for me to get over. I know you said you're going to do a whole post on attachment styles, but do you have any good resources you'd reccomend to help me face this issue?

This low-key made me tear up a bit, my ex never wanted to kiss me. We spent five years together and he always said kissing just wasn't his thing... It was weird for me when I first started dating again that men wanted to kiss me, I was super caught off-guard, but damn, I wouldn't change how anything played out, but I'm glad to know this now and what a hard lesson to learn.

Uuuugggghhhh, this. I was supposed to go on a date with a guy I had recently met, we were texting the week before and to end the conversation one night I casually mentioned I was going to hop in the shower and get ready for bed. This POS had the gall to ask me to send a photo... Like, what? Like OP said, without even a first date under the belt, it was weird. That wasn't even the worst part though, when I said no he asked for an explanation; this random guy I had met once and had been texting fo…
