I have been married for 3 years. get a pre-nup with a fidelity clause. You don't know who your spouse will become after you marry. Either protect yourself, or don't get married.

Presumption of spousal privacy is a toxic idea. Private social media, email, snapchat and whatsapp is unhealthy to a marriage. Complete openness encourages honesty and discourages sneaking around.

Most modern women aren’t marriage material, and people should not be having children with them.

This reminds me of the show “naked and afraid.” I would rather be alone than with one of the “bear” women. They would be useless in a survival situation.

True! Honestly, being selective about your doc based on your specific circumstances is a great idea and makes sense. All docs have their own experiences, biases derived from them, etc.

I am sorry that your husband is/was not meeting your needs. You don't exist as an object of someone else's pleasure and happiness. you are your own person and deserve to have joy and happiness. I hope that you can find joy and happiness, contentedness and rest. I read some of your other posts and you sound like a pretty amazing mother.

While I agree with you in spirit, its important to accurately represent the accusations and allegations of harm correctly, so as to not be accused of straw-manning. The typical power dynamic is not men over women per se, but a power dynamic of a subordinate-senior relationship, where denial of a request carries a deeper implication of later punitive action. To prove this sort of abuse, the accusers would have to show a circumstance where he was denied, and then the denier was punished in some fa…

The caniballism analogy is asinine. The parents of the fetus are responsible for assisting it because they are in fact responsible for bringing into existence a being that is needy by nature and thus are responsible for its neediness. Autonomy is not a free pass to shirk personally maternal and paternal responsibility. “Fetus” refers to a biologically prenatal human in both implicit and explicit terms. Modern science also confirms that a zygote is categorically an individual. Since I presume you…

Then wouldn’t it follow that the little body inside you that you knowingly took positive actions to create, and is developing by natural and biological means is it’s own autonomous body, and thus you have no right to kill it?

Lets be honest, GE products and their appliance construction/manufacturing quality has been on the decline for the past 20 years. They have found ways to increase margins while lowering cost due to planned obsolescence in a business move that can simply be described as predatory toward their customers. They have been riding on Brand loyalty simply because they've been around for longer than most if not every American has been alive for. To hear that they are now going to blatantly discriminate o…

Because in the axiomatic progression of ontological thought, greed is contingent upon envy which is a basic human emotion. Greed based upon envy is ontologically prior to economic theory. Economic theory is not only contingent upon people, but also non-people objects, and scarcity. Greed is a factor that must exist logically prior to capitalism, which is an economic idea. This is because capitalism as an economic theory is based upon a number of facts and assumptions including "goods are scarce,…

Im not even convinced hes entirely wrong on the religion talk either. People who are committed to Atheism generally find their moral philosophy to be of a subjective category. Objective moral values are typically grounded in some sort of transcendent mandate or character, which dont really exist under Atheism. Now obviously, that doesn't mean atheists are bad people, or cant live moral lives under either system, it just means that, systematically in a philosophical sense, its difficult to build …

After seeing what mandatory sentencing has done to nonviolent drug offenders, I'm not convinced that mandatory sentencing is ever a good idea. It applies an essentially blanket pre-trial judgement that may not be appropriate in whatever circumstance exists in individual cases. Sentencing should absolutely be on a case-by-case basis.

In Texas, there was a case where a Teacher had sex with multiple students who were of age. Texas state law makes it a crime of improper sexual relations regardless of age because of the student/teacher dynamic. she was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years, but got paroled in under 2. if I remember correctly. She was not required to register as a sex offender, nor does she have any parole restrictions. It really depends on the state laws on the books relevant when there is a case of abuse when t…

As a trained and professional UFC fighter, could she be charged with the much weightier Aggravated Assault because her training in hand-to-hand combat could very well mean assault was "with a deadly weapon?" It seems there is a precedent in other jurisdictions. Hot-headed trained fighters need to be held accountable for their actions outside the ring. http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/news/389937/Judge-rules-MMA-fighters-hands-feet-are-deadly-weapons/ http://www.mmamania.com/2015/11/3/9666078/mma-…

On "Myth 3" which is trying to address the refutation of the fuzzy math which 3rd wave feminism uses to assert a false wage gap, the author sites a TUC (Trade Unions Congress) study which notes that the higher percentile of earners between men and women, the "gap" widens. I'd be interested on the rationalization of the people who created this type of position. I imagine a liason, mediator or translator between certain management types and certain IT types wouldn't be a wholly bad idea. Or at least someone at some time convinced someone that this type of person was needed, and they happened to be just the person to do it. I worked at a company that created new positions that way. Sure, but that would be counterproductive for the type of racket that Duke is running, and they prefer to bully students in these types of cases because the administration probably wants to be seen as forward thinking and supportive of victims of rape. Meanwhile, rad-fem activists get involved, and weasel themselves and their buddies onto the 'crucifixion' tribunals, so they can start to establish a precedent.

Luckily, due to prior cases, kick-starter is not classified as donations, per se, rather it is considered an investment or actual (pre)purchase. Hardly. Your analogy is a simple straw-man. Both FGM and MGM are invasive and painful surgeries done without consent to the effected parties, done for archaic, if not ridiculous reasons. Obama doesn't want you to do that, though. He doesn't want free thinkers, because free thinkers prefer freedom, and all he has done is increase social programs and quash civil liberties. No, I don't really do this, but I saw a documentary on Nat Geo that included following around a guy who did.

The biggest hitch would be keeping your kids from spilling the beans while you are trying too play Secret Identity. The problem is that once you take the kids, thats kidnapping. If you skip country, thats essentially trafficking. You'd also have to find someone that could get you 3 new identities without raising suspicion or getting caught. I don't know how much a new, forged identity costs, but I'm certain that 3 cost more than $130,000. Also, you would probably have trouble taking that money, …

r/atheism is no better than r/srs in terms of bigotry, circle jerk mentality, and generally smugness and pseudo-intellectualism.

I don't understand why you were downvoted. You stated a very legitimate claim and issue.

If you think you may want to marry a girl, you might bring up kids and how they feel about them versus how you feel about them. Then you could segue into talking about your vasectomy. You never know man, you might freeze some sperm beforehand. Other than that, its nobody's business but your own.

Hmm, I don't know. Its like, how many illicit chat logs show up on to catch a predator, and then the offender doesn't show up, ya know? Do they get IP addresses, and go to the guy's house, or is he safe?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
