The richest sources is actually seafood, but if you're not a Pescatarian then it still probably won't help. You can still get the recommended amount from nuts, beans, spinach, fortified cereals and dairy products. Unfortunately most of these foods have compounds that actually inhibit the absorption of zinc fully by your body so you would have to eat up to ~50% more than a meat eater.

Zinc can help the cell membranes restore strength and heal wounds caused by infections (or acne). It is also really important for cell division and protein synthesis. Zinc can help your skin become less oily as well. While it is important to wash your face, it is also a good idea to get as much zinc, vitamin A, vitamin C and water for healthy skin. All of this can be absorbed from fruits and vegetables or multivitamins.

I am not married, but I always considered myself very lucky to have parents who have an excellent functioning relationship. So here is my anecdotal story. They got married when my mother was 23 and my father was 30 and have been together 30+ years. Their love and respect for each other is admirable and very nice to watch. They have their occasional disagreements but they understand and accept each others faults. Also, they are still madly in love with each other. Just yesterday my father told me…

What is IRC? I have never heard of it before.

Here is the abstract from the original study, which I think is also very interesting, especially the part about "attending to the health of one’s friends’ marriages" Divorce represents the dissolution of a social tie, but it is also possible that attitudes about divorce flow across social ties. To explore how social networks influence divorce and vice versa, we exploit a longitudinal data set from the long-running Framingham Heart Study. The results suggest that divorce can spread between friend…

Not necessarily. Did you know that there are over 180 places in the human genome that affect height? It's pretty amazing! It really depends on what genes are passed and how they interact with each other, as height is multifactorial inheritance. You are very right, environment and epigenetics plays a major role as well and adequate nutrition in childhood will make you grow taller. Also, dwarfism can occur spontaneously when neither parent in carrying a mutant gene. You are specifically talking ab…

Probably what TempesTcup said, for a green card. Or, since these individuals are so far removed from you (you've never met them I am assuming) there is something more to the story.

I think highly educated women have a moral obligation to take top positions, to set an example by their choices I find this incredibly impertinent. She insinuates highly educated women who decide to stay home or work part time are amoral. What's wrong with having a highly educated mother who works part time or decides to stay home to take care or house/children? How can this proposed women possibly set a bad example for her children? When women just stay at home or work part-time, they don’t rea…

I made an Easter cheesecake and it was fabulous! Really rich and full of chocolate so we could only eat it in small portions. Turkey turned out great as well. Went to the fabric shop to buy material for quilting. I had a pattern ready and I was really excited but all together the material was going to cost upward of 400 dollars. Sightly heart broken. Goals for this week: practice my violin more, drink more water, and now that my exams are done try to be less stressed and more pleasant to be arou…

My initial reaction is maybe you are juggling too many things at once and possibly becoming overwhelmed. Working a labor intensive and time consuming job, raising a 10 month old and being a good First Mate is a lot to handle at once! It seems as if your priorities are raising your son and keeping the house clean and orderly for your SO. If you are making 5,000 a year and the amount is truly inconsequential I would probably give up the job. You say the situation is great (financially) so is there…

Thank you very much. He certainly enjoys his evening tea so that's a great idea.

Will do. It' funny how your brain can take you on a tirade that is so detached from reality sometimes. I suppose that's what they mean about "making mountains out of mole hills". Thank you very much!

Thank you! I'll certainly try this. There's no lack of attraction, just starting to see I think too much.

I agree, over thinking it is very much the problem. I was raised in a fairly conservative home and school environment and as a result initiation isn't exactly my forte. Thank you for the response!

Only once before, he was very tired. It's a fairly new relationship so I haven't tried all that often. The sex is frequent enough but I just want to do something nice and spontaneous once in a while.

Lost one pound! Not much, but it's at least heading in the right direction. Also, I have started doing squats everyday for a more lifted look. Looking forward to making a huge turkey dinner on Sunday. I'm making a Cadburys Creme Egg cheesecake for dessert as it looks amazingly delicious. Considering learning how to make quilts. Haven't sewn in a while and I have lots of time off next week!
