I think that lack of clarity also can lead to increased pressure. Clear communication is always the way to go.

I resent both the assertion that I'm not a good guy and the idea you think you could know someone that well based upon what subreddit they like to read. I totally agree with the idea of leaving the "in a good guy - promise!" mindset, though. I just think it's possible to abandon chasing girls (read: following them) and still actually BE a good guy without having to try to prove it.

The same girls you kiss-close at 1:15 aren't going to magically decide to go home with you if you happen to bump into them half an hour later or something. The "magic" happens if and when you make it happen. You aren't showing up too late or leaving too early. Your problem is focusing on external factors rather than internal ones.

I feel like most of the reasonable perspectives on this issue have been presented already in this thread. So I'll add that if a girl put her hand in my face and said "BYE" I wouldn't be interested anymore. I don't even see this as a question of what to do next or if I should try anything because why would I want to?

A girl freaks out about the location of her friend every time you dance with one? I don't think I even understand what you're asking.

If I were you I'd stop drinking for a while. Just period. Force yourself to grow accustomed to not using it as a crutch.

You made out with a random drunk girl for a few seconds despite her sober friends trying to prevent her from embarrassing herself in public. I know we're all here for different reasons, but... eek. Also, I don't understand the point of this particular video as an example of your supposed prowess if she kissed you just a little bit and then walked away on her own volition and never saw you again...

Don't necessarily not give up on women - just don't give up on YOURSELF.

Why didn't you just say "let's get a condom?" That's the whole problem.

She had to force you to ask her if you wanted to go back to her place. And then when she admitted she was willing to actually take you back to her place, you didn't make it happen. Super beta. Then she gives you another chance and offers to take you to her place again, and your response is ".. ok" instead of "definitely" or "yeah, let's go." You were making her lead the whole time, so there should be no surprise at how she ended it.

Well obviously I didn't mean you could borrow my transporter and visit her at night during your international trip. Meet up with her as soon as possible, which is apparently in like 22 days, and be very clear about wanting to - verbally - right now.

It wasn't a rhetorical question. If it turns out I'm wrong in thinking that they're the same, then I will have learned something. No one was freaking out.

Yes. A fine line. Not "completely unlike"
/r/seduction17/02/16 11:47 PM

How is the OP "completely unlike" your example? What he said there IS a frame reversal. He even says "Play it like she's actually trying to seduce you, but you're the one saying no."

I always assumed the same thing. Until one night when I was hanging with this super awesome girl and I convinced her to come back to my (parents') place to hang out some more. ...She did. ...She met my parents and they said "hi its nice to meet you see you later." ...Then we went to my room. It was basically the exact same thing that would normally happen plus saying hello, which is just common courtesy. And that only even happened because my parents happened to be in a place where the girl and …

Did you go with traditional braces or the translucent kind?
/r/seduction15/12/15 12:15 AM

This. Based on feedback from girls, apparently their perceived awesomeness of a given kissing experience is like 75-90% hands. I'm assuming it's actually more like 50% hands and 25% how much she likes the guy, though. But the point is hands > mouth, I guess.

If you're focusing on your own thinking instead of paying attention to her, you're not actually in the moment. Paying attention to her is inherently great, obviously, but also distracts you from worrying about yourself.

The way to "get amazing with women" is to learn more about them and yourself, and to remain open-minded and become confident. Game/seduction isn't just a muscle that you can exercise by simply doing the same things over and over. Let's say you approach like crazy and finally get it down perfectly. What happens when you finally meet someone you want to go further with? You won't know if you never have before. So, don't focus on one phase on the interaction. Learn everything you can from this girl…

There a bunch of good tips here to help you. My two cents is: I wouldn't worry; as long as you CAN communicate - which it seems you can - that's all you need.

First, make sure this is a time when she doesn't legitimately need your help. Actually being a douche is the best way to come off as one. Otherwise, you have to do something to undermine the power she thinks she has over you. My personal preference is usually to actually perform the task but in a manner that makes things not that easy for her in the end - best of both worlds. An example would be going up and getting her phone, but then sitting back down where you were and making her reach really…

They aren't EVERYWHERE, though. OP says he's in a big city, so you're right as far as he goes - but generally, I mean, there are plenty of places with little to no options.

Saying "I did kino" and "she was showing IOIs" doesn't make this a field report, and your lack of specificity makes it hard to analyze.

i'll get her talking about that then say something like "We'll defs have to catch up for a jam sometime". "We should hang out..." is wayyy different from "Meet me at this place at this time." Guess which one is more alpha.

I realized that casual sex personally just isn't my thing, and i wanted to use these techniques to be more social and find the right girl. Same here. Consequently, I've also found myself in similar situations, but fortunately I realized that some basic PUA principles already provide an answer: outcome independence. You have to just tell them how you feel/ don't feel and let that be it. Letting them stay attached to you longer than you want is the same thing as letting a girl keep teasing you or …

Exactly. That's why I agreed that mimicking their actions is inadvisable. But if someone says to himself, "Hey I like James Bond, and one reason he seems so cool to me is because he's confident, so I should learn to be confident, too!" I don't see a problem with it.
/r/seduction12/09/13 11:19 PM

Honestly, I think you're oversimplifying the scripted-ness behind fictional characters' luck with women. Yes, women's responses to their action are scripted. And, yes, because of that, using their lines and tricks is likely to be unsuccessful in the real world. But just because James Bond or Don Draper says or does something specific that wouldn't work in the real world, or isn't alpha enough, or something, doesn't mean that those characters don't portray the confidence and resilience that we're…

Honestly, she was probably kidding when she characterized the sex and ticket purchase as an exchange - hence her saying it was a misunderstanding. But assuming you were right and she intended a straight trade, you did do the alpha thing by not buying the tickets AND by calling her out.

I understand what you were aiming for, but you're not going to get there by not actively gauging her interest in what you two are talking about, and probably not via Facebook. Honestly, social media (and to a lesser extent texting) should only be used for short communiques like making/confirming plans. If your response had said "Hey let's watch the new episode tomorrow night. Your place?" or something, that would have been a million times better.

You shouldn't have focused on P&R so much. It was a good idea to find something you have in common to begin conversation, but then you took it too far. Notice how she's really polite, but doesn't say anything to continue the conversation on that topic. You should have moved on; you look like you're more interested in the show than in her.

For clarity, I think the distinction should be made between imagining past relationships and imagining future relationships. Yes, imagining a fake history between you and another person will corrupt your ability to effectively interact with them in the present. However, imagining what a relationship with another person would be like in the future can help you determine if further interaction is worth the investment.

You are the reason why you're at where you're at, [...] THIS. I'm a Christian and pretty serious about my faith. But I think that you are in control of where you are in your life, and the amount of effort you put into how you develop is the only thing that determines how much you progress - regardless of how much you pretend that you don't affect your own life.
