Because capital punishment is a barbaric form of institutionalized revenge murder.

It pains me when people say that this sort of criticism against Gillard is wrong (which it is, any critisim of a polliticians appreance is wrong. A politicians appearance shouldn't be an issue) But then turn around and mock Abbott's ears, and his budgie smugglers. Those double standards are strong.

No it's Gillard. She has a failing public image and is using any old trick to try and get reelected come September.

Other people have said it, but it needs to be said again. Today tonight is not news, they are sensationalist, non-journalistic bullshit. Don't give them the press, they don't deserve it. Fear mongering assholes.

Fair call. If you have the time, can you please elaborate what you mean by the "The ideology of feminism is the problem", because I have seen many different definitions of feminism and I'm just wondering what you mean by that.

IIRC in past videos she has defined feminism, or at least how she views herself as a feminist to be different from the usual BS that perpetuates men as the enemy. From what i can tell she is a supporter of equal rights and fully identifies how some feminists are part of the problem rather than solution.

That is beyond intellectually lazy, that is a little dishonest. IF you unsubbed immediately when she said that. Did you even listen to her explanation or rationalisation, or fuck, even the definition she gave?

Up until 11:40 is the Gender differences panel, so if you don't have a lot of time then that is a good place to stop (though the rest is good). Christina highlighted how a lot the discrimination that both women and men face can be brought back to the old school "Male dominated society" (or if you really wanna push some buttons "patriarchy"). The problems with double standards in rape (especially drunk rape), the problem that men face in trying to gain custody in court battles and things of that …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
