However, of the little I've experienced of /r/mensrights, they seem almost as bad as /r/srs Considering the fact that you've contributed absolutely nothing of worth to this subreddit, you could just bugger off since it's so awful here...

I've come to realize that if you want to get married, marry someone exactly like you. If you think you're awesome and they're just like you, you're going to think they're awesome and they're going to think you're awesome. Narcissism at it's finest. Opposites attract is bullshit. Not all women are awful, just stay away from the ones who are.

And yet you still can't have a conversation with someone without sounding like a complete fucking dickhead. I'm sure you'll go far in life...out there on your tobacco farm... Yeah, 'cause pathology hasn't done anything for mankind, at all. And I definitely haven't taken any sort of physics...'cause it's not like that's a requirement for your A.S. What I'm saying is that we have the term homeostasis because nothing in the body in constant, it is constantly fluctuating, including blood density. Bl…

Hahahahahaha! You know what's so fucking cute? How smart you think you are. Your little bullshit about blood density, like that was supposed to trip me up? I don't need to include the math. All I need to tell you is that nothing in the body is constant. Does homeostasis ring a bell? If you're going to try and out someone as a fraud you should probably throw out something a little bit more advanced than chapter 1 of Intro to A&P. And I hate the be the bearer of bad news, but being a socially reta…

No one dares insult physics. Hahahahahhahahahahahaha!!!! First off, no one was insulting physics. Secondly, get the fuck over yourself. "Everything flows through us." Hahahhahahahahahahaha! Abortion is not always a "serious matter." Especially in a case like this. Her becoming pregnant was obviously nothing more than a ploy to get into his bank account so why should the CLUMP OF NONSENTIENT CELLS inside her uterus be taken anymore seriously? It's not a baby. And again, IT'S NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILI…

Yeah, because medicine is such a bullshit field. Don't be a cunt. I didn't shit on your field of science, I just said stick to what you know and keep your judgement to yourself.

You're totally right. I'm just a straight A med student. I obviously have no fucking clue about the reproductive system. Again, it is not your responsibility so keep your fucking judgements to yourself until it's your own shit brewing in your uterus.

Because being an astrophysicist makes you an expert in biology? Go fuck yourself. It's not a baby and it's not your fucking responsibility.

It is obvious. Don't let other people guilt you into parenthood when you're not ready. They have absolutely no responsibility for it, you do.

You know what shouldn't be lightly tossed around? BRINGING ANOTHER HUMAN BEING ONTO THIS PLANET. It's a big fucking deal! And if neither one of them is ready, which obviously they are not, then abortion is the best route to go. If she has the baby, then by all means, he should fight for full custody because that bitch is psycho and shouldn't be raising anyone, but it is not a BABY right now. It's a bunch of cells all squished together with no consciousness whatsoever. Don't guilt people into par…

Bullshit. He shouldn't be forced into fatherhood when he's not ready just because she's manipulative. It'd be better off for everyone involved if she got it taken care of.

Bullshit. She lied to him so she could fuck him over and take him for every dime she can get out of him. If I was a guy and a chick did that to me, I'd promise her the goddamn moon in order to get her to abort and then drop her like a bad habit.
/r/MensRights17/02/13 02:42 AM

Unfortunately, if she doesn't want to abort it there's really nothing you can do to stop the arrival of the child. I would demand a paternity test and then fight for full custody if the child is yours.

I love it! I'm a bit more what would be labeled as "masculine" and I think that "Whaddup, bro!" gets across that same intimacy that a greeting like "Hey, girlfriend!" conveys but in a manner that feels more comfortable to me, especially given the fact that most of my friends/family members are male. I don't have many female friends so I'm not an expert but it seems like women tend to form really close bonds with one another and that's something that was seen as being a chick thing and I think th…

I'm always up for givin' anyone a chance. I try as often as possible to judge people based on their words and actions rather than their labels. I do have to be honest, I'm not a misogynist, but I am wary of women due to what has happened to me in my life, and because of that and the fact that I've had so many positive male influences it colors my perception that much more when I run into the man-hater type.

I'm a supporter of Women's Rights, just like I am Men's Rights, but Feminism nowadays carries other baggage and ideas with it that I have no interest in being associated with. If you don't associate with those then that's awesome, but I'm talking about my own personal experiences and in my experience the feminists I've talked with who identified as such unprovoked were also misandrists and I have too many wonderful men in my life to tolerate that shit.

This. So much. I think the core idea of feminism, equality, is awesome. But I hate what vicious, bitter women have done with it. I've caught so much flak for saying that I can't stand feminists, but I've yet to meet someone who labelled themselves as one to me personally, who didn't infuriate me with their bullshit rhetoric and propaganda. The best influences in my life are men and they're the reason I'm the woman I am today, despite all the bullshit the women in my life put me through. Anyone w…

I don't oppose feminism, I oppose what feminists have done with it and that's why I refuse to self-identify as such. Anti-feminism shouldn't be here, anti-feminists-abusing their-title-to-spew-hate-and-bile, sure, why not?

Our definition of lady is incredibly different. And 3-4 dates!? Dang! I'll be real with a guy if I'm not feeling it, but even when I am feeling it I still wanna hang out for a few weeks or so before we knock boots. I'm very open about it though and I'm not going to lead someone on.

It's not offensive, it just sounds like you've been hurt really badly and since I don't know you I can't really comment on that. I think that both parties should be loved and nurtured in a relationship. Sex is incredibly important to me, probably almost or just as important as a lot of men find it. I just want an actual relationship and not a one night stand so I like to wait a little while before I sleep with someone. And that's because sex is so important. The sex always seems exponentially mo…

I'm sorry, this just paints men and women and relationships in general in such a negative light that I can't...I can't even find the words to respond constructively. I hope you have a pleasant evening.

I think it's a little more involved than that. There are some behaviors that are just...cringe-worthy. I had a friend who used to go to bars several nights a week and fuck guys (often unprotected) in the bathroom without ever learning their names. She thought it was fun. I'm extremely open and I don't mind casual sex myself but that for me just seemed nasty. There was no deceit involved, but it still turned my stomach. That doesn't seem liberating at all, it just seems dangerous and desperate.

Ah, I see. I went with the modern context due to the wedding cakes and rolling pin imagery. Well, not just that, in fact, there wasn't a whole lot to make me think they were just talking about animals and early humans.

Thank you for the benefit of the doubt. I'm not here to troll so my being a woman does not mean that I only look at men as violent sex-driven lumps of shit. Quite the opposite, in fact. I don't instantly view aggressive as negative outside of context and I thought that in the context given it's intent was more clear. You keep telling me that men are not sex-driven and I believe that. But you need to understand that not everything has to do with sex and that is the message that you are putting fo…

I think we may have a miscommunication due to a typo. When you say that you think that a lady being chased is distasteful do you mean chased as in the the male being the aggressor when it comes to courtship or do you mean "chaste" as in sexually demure? I thought you meant the former and responded accordingly.

I gave you a list of traits that I'd expect to see. If you can't be bothered to read it then I don't know what to tell you.

I think that has to do with biology and society. You can't blame women for wanting to hold out a bit when we're taught that a man only wants one thing from us and if we give it up too quickly he'll disappear, while men are also being taught that good things are worth the wait and that a girl who gives it up is easy and cheap. I don't like to play games but I do realize that it seems like guys find it more satisfying if I let them "chase" me a bit.

To me being a lady/gentleman is being honorable, having integrity, being wise and intelligent, being poised. I think it's about being strong and embracing your femininity/masculinity without feeling the need to be abrasive. Obviously not everyone's going to be able to be all this 100% of the time, I know I don't, but I do try retain that core even if I may not always show it.

So that men will respect them, not necessarily like them. And really it should be so that they can respect themselves.

Poise actually has to do with being graceful and elegant. I left off what I wanted to say on the other comment, which I now see I should have left on: I expect a lady to have the same kind of qualities I'd expect a gentleman to have. Wisdom does not come with age, it come with experience and being able to learn from those experiences.

Superficial shit like holding doors is definitely part of being a gentleman. But being a gentleman or a lady goes much deeper than social niceties.

Here's a novel idea. Maybe a man shouldn't mold his personality on whether or not YOU would date him.

I guess we have different ideas about what it means to be a lady. I believe it has to do with integrity and honor, intelligence, wisdom, grace and poise, that kind of stuff.

I guess it's just that I've never needed discipline in order to stay faithful to a partner. I've had ample opportunities but there was never a moment's hesitation before I said "Uh no thank you, I'm involved."

Guy gets incredibly drunk, goes back to room to sleep it off. Girl comes into the room, removes trousers, guy protests, she shushes him, manipulates penis, more protesting, more shushing, girl has herself a time, leaves. This has actually happened to my brother on more than a few occasions and I have other male friends who say they've had similar situations happen to them.

It's not casual and it's to the point that male or female, if you don't believe that men are scumbags and not fit to kiss the ground that we females walk upon, you're ostracized. There's a reason why I only have a few female friends and it's because I refuse to buy into the whole "everything she does is magic, and everything he does is shit" schtick. Why can't men respond with more hate? They're just supposed to allow themselves to be mistreated while blowing kisses at everyone until women can b…

Is she really young? Maybe it's because I'm an older woman so when my partner has concerns I don't automatically assume that it has to do with me, but it's bothersome that she can't let go of her ego for one minute so she can acknowledge your concerns. It isn't crazy. Socially accepted genital mutilation has made it so that you will never experience sex the way that nature intended. And not even typical loss of sensitivity to the head, but it goes farther than that. I'm tired of reading comments…

No, it's not hard. People chose not to have that kind of empathy because they can't be bothered. I don't even know this guy and I feel for him. It sucks that because of socially accepted genital mutilation he will never experience sex the way that he could've. For his own girlfriend to not only not show the level of empathy that a complete stranger can feel, let alone the fact that she took it one step further and invalidate his feelings, it's bullshit.
