| 1 | Having a hard time finding a woman worth marrying? It's nothing new. Read this excerpt from the bible!I didn't say that it was. I was providing context for what you interpret as contradiction. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/08/14 12:33 AM |
| 2 | Having a hard time finding a woman worth marrying? It's nothing new. Read this excerpt from the bible! The 1 Timothy verses are a in the context of a letter providing Timothy with directions for church conduct and structure, so this is likely to be in the context of behavior in the church. Prov 31 is in the context of the home and marriage, and is likely more about the woman's role as mother, *wife, and home administrator. Edit: for clarification; wife, and home administrator. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/08/14 06:10 AM |
| 1 | Without TRP, I would not have spotted the warning signs of this 30 yo, ending-cock-carousel, seeking beta bux, woman.I think the issue is not Christianity. Feminism being such a dominating force in western culture would naturally permeate any subculture, including Christianity. Christianity is actually very much TRP if you know anything about the historical context of the Bible. If you were to take a look at Christianity in say, a country like Ethiopia, you would see a different structure altogether in how Christians relate to their families and wives. | /r/TheRedPill | 02/08/14 06:42 AM |
