I’m 9 days too late but this was great to read and congratulations to you! This is basically what I was trying to allude to. You both made a commitment to maintain intimacy and even though you had your tough experiences, and 4 kids, you still made an effort to be intimate and your partner took on more domestic work to support your efforts. The other women were basically inferring that a man is wrong for making an effort to be intimate not including the obvious physical or behavioural limitations…

Just because there is a hierarchy of responsibilities, doesn’t mean that everything below the thing that’s paramount should cease to exist. Should parents no longer go on dates because they had a kid? Should they no longer go on vacations together? Should they miss out on concerts or social events they used to frequent and enjoy together? Should they stop engaging in their hobbies? If the answer is no to all of these then why tf should sex and intimacy cease to exist? Grow up and be an adult if …

What I’m saying is very easy to understand. I literally said barring any stressful, strenuous or extreme life circumstances and then you went on to list a bunch of shit thats stressful, strenuous or extreme. “Not helping your partner” is stressful for your partner, obviously. “Prioritizing your dick when you just had a baby” is extreme, your partner just had a child. “Demanding affection when your partner is on survival mode because your partner is pulling their weight” stressful bordering on ex…

Bro how did you read what I said and immediately quote some shit I didn’t explicitly say but sure, my bad, I’ll rephrase my original comment. Barring any stressful, strenuous or extreme life circumstances, if you are going to shame, belittle, invalidate or dismiss your partner who is making an effort or a request to sustain intimacy in a longterm monogamous relationship, you are a shitty partner that isn’t mature enough for a long term monogamous relationship and you can never make me change my …

If you have zero interest trying to make an effort in sustaining intimacy before or after you have kids (unless you have a mutual agreement), you’re a shitty partner that isn’t mature enough for a long term monogamous relationship. And if you’re going to shame and belittle a partner who still wishes to have intimacy with a person he/she has committed to the rest of their life and sexual exclusivity to, I feel zero sympathy if you get cheated on. Man or woman.

I understand that leading women on will get you more sex but there’s a huge population of women that will happily sleep with you if you’re fun and look good.

I mean are you surprised that women are interested in knowing what the job status, height, fitness, dick size and prior dating history is of a man before they invest any effort into you? Is it socially stupid to ask all of that up front like right after saying hi? Yes. However if the shoe was on the other foot, I’d sure as shit wish to know if the girl I’m talking to is fat or ugly before I start flirting with her so I’d eventually segue to my inquiries before I invest any effort. Your OLD pictu…

Hey. Maybe the women who went to 9 events just needed some emotional soothing given that she posted in a woman centric sub. I don’t disagree with any of your points by the way.

that’s your biggest takeaway?

I mean your advice might be accepted if you prefaced it by saying that you’re autistic lol. I think there are healthy ways to communicate solutions to someone who went out of their way to share a problem with thousands of people which I can safely assume is a huge problem for them. I had a close home girl who was facially really beautiful but was extremely overweight and she really liked my homeboy who was this jacked handsome dude with a 100k a year job straight outta uni. I told her something …

I think you’re arguing past each other. More attractive people garner the ability to choose more attractive partners, less attractive people don’t even if they want the more attractive person. So because they don’t, they have to either improve until they do or reframe their lens of attractive which is what the guy you’re going back and forth with is implying. If you aren’t attractive enough to get the wide jaw, facially symmetrical, great hairline 6’4” doctor which is ideal. Is the 5’8” broad sh…

I’m pretty sure no one cares. I think OP is trying to figure out the psychology behind why women almost always exhibit little constructive criticism and tonnes of emotional support and praise in such contexts

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
