FYI: She never said she deserved a pay raise. She casually mentioned he made way more than her and it was because he was the title character. The headlines are just click-bait.

The last special Amy Schumer did completely changed my opinion on her. I’ll be the first to admit, I was wrong. She should definitely keep stealing jokes.

I’m probably going to hit 124 in Kansas City next. They have a new airport happening right now and a data center about to man up. Also, 58 in Detroit is busy. I have about 20 brothers out of my home 226 out there right now. Those are the two I’m looking toward right now. Certainly open to suggestions if you have any.

Oh!! Lol sorry. I’m 37.

Not 100% but I’ll be on the road 7-9 months a year so, mostly. When I’m not I share a place with my best friend.

It’s a 1995. So, it’s older. The motor is new and it just had the suspension rebuilt so that should be good for a while. However, I am expecting there to be some hefty maintenance expenses in the coming years. I just have to make sure I have a nice emergency fund saved up to handle things when they pop up.

I bought this one for $25k from a long time family friend. It’s kind of like buying a house in that, the price range is HUGE. It all depends on what you get. I don’t have any specific links but there are a lot of YouTube videos on RV life which have been very helpful.

Oh I’ve learned my lesson there my friend. Married for 5 years back in my 20s. Turns out I was being cheated on for 3 of them. Not going down that road again. Life is too good.

You sort of just “plug in” wherever they’re looking for people. Basically, you put you name on a list at the local union hall (we call it “signing the book”) then when they need people on a specific project they post how many people they need and for how long and if you want to take that job you let them know. They just go in order of when you signed. Right now there are a lot of areas that have open calls meaning there’s more work available then they have people to do it.

That’s exactly right. There’s a lot of work out there right now.

I thought about that but the reason I didn’t is I already have a truck the I can flat tow behind this but it’s only a 1/2 ton. So, if I did a 5th wheel I’d have to buy a trailer and a bigger truck and I can’t afford that much right now.

I’m 226. I’m probably headed to Kansas City. They’re into book 2 and still have open calls (new airport being built and a data center). St Louis is the same. Detroit is really busy too but it’s one of those locals where you have to show up at the hall each day each morning to put your name on a call. But everyone’s changing things over to make EVs right now so they have a lot of shut downs. There’s a lot of work in the south but the scale sucks.

Thank you, my friend. If I were to describe the inside, it is... perfectly acceptable. There’s a couch, TV, kitchen, toilet, shower, and bed. Basically, everything you could ever need. She’s older but that’s ok with me.

I’m happy to but I don’t know how to post multiple photos... if you know, I have them and I’ll do it!

Yeah but there’s a big difference between someone going, “awwww.... I’ll upvote the poor girl” and deciding, “I need to see more of that so bad I’ll pay”

American here who’s be fortunate enough to spend a lot of time in countries around the world as well. Daily life is nothing like what’s believed by people who’ve never been here. You see guns regularly but I don’t know anyone who’s ever seen someone be shot other than internet videos. VERY few people are racist. I’ve met a few racist people in the US but have met many more in Europe and Asia. The medical field in particular is probably as diverse and anything can be and nobody gives a second tho…

Break up with her and give those 4 reasons. I wouldn’t say the 5th because she’ll just latch onto that and tell everyone you dumped her because you’re not willing to compromise.

I think you’re confusing “dating” with “being in a relationship”.

That’s a tight spot bro. The good thing is once you get though you’ll never need to be the old guy bagging groceries. You can always use teaching as a retirement job. Hell, I’m hoping to have a retirement job wether I need it or not. You’re gonna be good man.

Plumbing is a good trade! I don’t think it’s that tough to get into. Plumbers also can make a lot of money. Either check with your local union or a shop that will pay for schooling. (Most will)

Just go talk to the IBEW in your area. We’re always looking for people. If you’re interested just go talk to them and check it out.

That’s awesome man. Having stuff is overrated. I certainly do enjoy having some things but freedom is certainly what’s most important. What’s funny is, I always said I wouldn’t ever get married too but fell into the trap. It can happen to the best of us. Haha

I appropriate that. I certainly recognize that I’m very fortunate. I seriously doubt I’ll ever be a father though I believe I’ll be a good one if the time ever comes. Financially, yes, I’m in a good spot. Being single has made it better. Maybe one day I’ll change my mind. If that time ever comes, I’ll do my best to be a great father.

So, I get called an “Indian” all the time because I’m a Native American. I know that doesn’t really mean much in our conversation but I felt like sharing. You’re a real Indian. Keep it up bother. Work hard and make a great life for yourself. Props from across the pacific.

Thank you so much!! I’m not a master of many things but I’ve certainly taken control of my life. There’s a lot of peace in that. Boundaries are built to be plowed through.

I understand that and I’m very thankful for it. Extremely thankful. I’m so very fortunate. Where are you from?

Thankfully, I lived in Indiana at the time and there is no alimony there. As Maximum_Afternoon said, it goes state to state. They all have different laws. Cali is certainly the worst. Thank God I lived in a Northern state that isn’t 100 years behind the times. I got lucky there.

Amen brother. I didn’t even realize how much money she was spending until after the fact.

Oddly.... no. I’m not in amazing shape but 5’10” 170 lbs (certainly not terribly big) and he was 6’1” and probably 250+. Idk his weight exactly but he was considered fat and not particularly attractive. That was very hurtful to me at first but after a while it became funny. They only lasted about a year. It turns out men who are willing to pursue married women aren’t great people to be in a relationship with.

I don’t mind at all. I was very unhappy in my lifestyle being married but I did not know it at the time because I was so in love with her at the time. I was blinded by my love. I had my hobbies before that but I put them off when I got married. I started them again after. I always wish my ex-wife would see me now for who I am. I no longer want to be with her but I do wish she’d see. How much fun she’s missing out on with me.

That’s smart as that’s wise. You’re smart to not compare yourself to other people. Keep on with that attitude. Work hard, fight on and be the best you can!

That’s cool man. Something I was told a long time ago (which I didn’t listen to at the time)... don’t compare you beginning to someone else’s middle. I’m in my middle, you’re at your start. I’ve accumulated more but that’s because I’m 16 years ahead. Play your cards right and you’ll be far ahead of me at the same age. I’ve spent most of my life fucking up. You have a chance of not doing that. Play it smart.

That cool man. I have a few guns. A nice Glock 40 and Mossgurg Maverick 88. Off road vehicles aren’t my thing (I like track cars) but that’s still badass. Just do what you love bro. That’s what’s important.

I’m a 37 year old electrician and I can say without a doubt.... there’s already a huge demand for people who can work with their hands. Seriously, we have a lot of robots that need hooked up people.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
