I’m in GA. My ex is only getting half of the equity because I stupidly put her on the mortgage thinking we would be together forever (not just 25 years). Of course I had proof she was a lying, stealing, cheater, so no alimony for her!

If she’s not on the mortgage/deed then she may not have access to the equity. If you have proof of the lying and cheating then she may not even receive alimony. Consult with an Attorney (really consult with several of the top attorneys, so she can’t get them either).
