Number 6 ties into number 3 so much. I’ve fumbled that way. Never again.

•Split the bill. Split the bill. SPLIT. THE. BILL. •see if you can get to know her friends – she might put you on •see if she’ll be your wing woman – she might put you on •if her actions ain’t matching her words (ie, she’s not letting you talk to other women, being too physical, crossing your boundaries), tell her to have a good night and do your own thing

The abundance mindset. Also putting myself and my happiness first, and understanding that women are there to compliment it. Example: If I go out, I’m going out for a good time. Whether or not I have a good time doesn’t depend on if I get the girl.

Use it as a means of communication to set up a date, nothing more. You’re not trying to sign up for her personal newsletter.

If they can’t be respectful to you just to say no, they aren’t worth your time.

I wouldn’t call it flirting, but there was a sense of familiarity that made her reach out to you instead of everyone else, so you were definitely on her radar. You got your foot in the door. Time to step on in!

Here are some questions you can ask yourself to get an idea: What’s the conversation like? Are you always initiating and carrying the conversation? Does she ask about you and the things you’re up to? Is she spontaneously checking up on you to see if you’re okay? How’s the quality of your time when you’re with her? Does she seem uninterested? Always on her phone? Just dry and hard to connect with? Is she attentive? And to reiterate OKKira’s comment, is she willing to do things for you? Does she p…

So you’re a deep thought kind of guy? Do your thoughts and conversations stir up a woman’s interest or emotions? If not, you’re not going to get far. She’ll gladly go with you for coffee, to a new museum, or even a study session at one of y’all’s places. But a night of introspective thought and debate doesn’t exactly set the stage for you to get the panties.

Take a step back and get your swag right again. You’re too invested and overthinking about a girl you are just texting and seeing on IG. This may not be the one for you. Move on.

You should continue your business as usual until she gets back to you. If she confirms, then it’s on. If she flakes, you do your own thing and it’s on. Head up. Best of luck!

Hey, fellow Redditor! Since posting this, I muted her on all platforms and started focusing on myself more, which meant getting busier AFK and cutting down on screen time. Had I kept checking in, the only place I would have remained was under her ego. I have ZERO intention of reaching out, and I doubt there will be a right time. She still keeps tabs on me online though. It’s one of the things she made a point of doing before she ghosted. Guess she can enjoy the show.

Older than the both of you. Felt the same way at that age. You're fine. Learn from your past and work towards a better future with your game.

Thanks for the input, but I'd like to at least have more success than a bunch of women just keeping tabs on me.

I appreciate the input! This is someone I have a lil history with who ghosted and then fell into orbit. So I'm just working on detaching and moving on right now.

Those first two points are a deadly pair and hard to escape if one doesn’t take charge of things. “Treat her like a celebrity and she’ll treat you like a fan.”

Coming from a younger man, salsa dancing. It sounds like a weird place to pick up women, but it works.

Don’t beat yourself up too much. She liked you just as much as you liked her. You never know what could have happened on her end. You’re already on the right track by keeping it moving. Keep your head up, big dawg!

I may be repeating a few points from other commenters. If so, use that to emphasize the importance of these things: •Get out of the self-pity mindset. It’s good to understand your flaws, bad habits, traits, whatever. But do NOT pity yourself because of them. If you can control it, you have the power to change it. If not, learn a way around it or through it. •Do not focus on perfection. Focus on progress with what you want. You’re not going to see results unless you build a healthy routine and co…

I probably wouldn’t even try multiple times if it’s someone I’ve already been with. Twice is ideal. Anything after is a bit much.

That’s great advice in the case of flings. But this isn’t limited to just them. I’ve had flings come back and had a good time. I’ve had flings come back and wasted time. This post is clearly for the latter. Some of the comments on this thread also helped add some perspective to it. But if you’re really that interested to know and want to share your advice, feel free to DM me.

The past between us is good, actually. Not really anything negative or off-putting between us.

As another Redditor commented, there is no black and white. I agree. With your game, values, and boundaries, it’s up to you to assess the situation and decide what to do. If it’s someone you’re not interested in, ignore it. Don’t even waste your time. If you think there may be something there, go full send with your intentions, but don’t hold any expectations.

I probably should have added a disclaimer at the start. One thing I’m noticing from the women who are commenting, is that they are clearer with their intentions and communication. In the instances referenced in the post, that’s not the case. Thanks for the input.

Unpopular opinions are welcome, they usually make for good conversation. Naturally, this post does not apply to all women. In fact, this applies to women who don’t share the quality you’ve mentioned – being a caring person.

Hey, thanks for the input. It’s cool to get some insight from the opposite sex. I’ve done what I can to make sense of my situation, looking at it from a more objective point of view and removing my ego. It definitely helped, but I’m still firm on my point in this particular instance. For extra context, this was not even a rejection – it was a straight up ghost.

Because it seems pretty clear that she’s looking for a ONS in you’re case.

It actually went like that to some degree. I asked what she wanted and she gave some throwaway excuse for hitting me up. She said she did want to overstep with me/be a bother or some sh*t. I applied pressure and said I was trying to get to know her better. She ghosted. So I know my next steps now. Thanks for the input. Definitely reaffirms it.

Definitely agree. Even then it’s not for others. It’s for the person at their core.
