There's a business idea. Have a Free Fellas night. Feminists would be outraged.

I have C-cups myself. The only people who make me feel uncomfortable about them are always women. When they catch a glimpse of my bra straps, for example, women laugh. Only men show concern or solidarity for my diverse body shape.

Then I thought about it and how some women come to work and I can see their nipples because they have no bra, but if I acknowledge that I would be a creep. The worst hypocrisy is that when I do wear my bra to work, I get called unprofessional. Women have more choices than us. Whether they wear a bra or not, nobody criticizes them—but when a man wears a bra to work, he is labeled a creep or a pervert or gay. Lady, I’m just trying to support my boobs like you are. Stop making everything about you.

Most people wearing crop tops at my gym aren’t gay. In fact, they have women orbiting them the entire time. Same with swimmers who wear Speedos. That’s not even gay, it’s just neutral clothing that all guys wear.

It’s tough while being overweight with a masculine frame. But I do it anyway, because they’re just that comfy.

If you have abs, it’s a great way to show them off. Lots of people at the gym wear crop tops for exactly that reason. I’m nowhere near that level of fitness to be able to pull it off. If only!

I get the same reaction when I wear leggings. I’m not wearing them to show off my penis to women (it isn’t even big). I’m wearing them because they’re comfy. Yet the words they use to skirt the accusation of shaming are always words that position themselves as victims: “uncomfortable,” “predatory,” “creepy,” “threatening,” etc. You can never win if you accept another’s rules of engagement. Live for yourself and never let women control you.

But within the woke culture, this movie managed to have a shockingly compelling men’s empowerment subplot. If they can do it once, they can do it again.

Just IMAGINE the outcry from victim-feminists if men made a Ken version of Barbie. Word on the street is that the sequel to this movie is going to be even more Ken-centered.

I bet "Boys rule" would cause an instant shitstorm and be accused of being sexist and misogynistic. I've seen plenty of kids' shirts that say that. Usually with a cute cartoon like a dinosaur or lion or whatever.
/r/MensRights10/08/23 02:55 AM
7

It was an okay movie. If you ignore the few preachy feminist scenes—which are mostly toward the end of the movie—it still holds up as a decent comedy. The Ken plotline was honestly refreshing, though. It had a compelling men's-empowerment message to it.

You don’t think it’s absurd to generalize the history of horsemanship based on just one person? The Barbie movie was made in the US and set in Barbieland.

It was not propagandizing for communism directly (it's a Hollywood feature, so of course it has a vested interest in the capitalist status quo), but was showing particular communists in a sympathetic light. That is considered light propaganda.

The male obsession with horses (which has always been a traditionally female obsession!) What kind of bullshit take is this? Women have only taken to horsemanship since the mid 20th century, and pretty much only in the West. Horsemanship and equestrian sports have traditionally been male obsessions, to the point where dogs and horses have been labelled man's best friends across cultures. Epics, war ballads, statues, holy books, paintings, plays, and even operas, etc. have always depicted horses …

Why are there no articles about men taking their dates to an MRA movie, and dumping them if they don't understand the premise of the issue? When has that ever happened?

What else do you expect from Vogue India? The worst part about this article isn’t even the feminist hypocrisy. It’s the very first sentence that sets the tone of how evil women can be: The very fact that they kiss-and-tell and discuss men’s intimate moments behind their backs is troubling. Men would be crucified if they did that to women.

There is a massive power imbalance in a relationship where she is the vendor and you are the client. She can exploit this power imbalance against you at any time, and that's exactly what she did. She's a terrible person for doing so. You should have known that she can exploit this power imbalance against you. It was a severe lapse in judgement on your part to actually move forward with attempting to date somebody who you know can exploit you. You should speak to her superiors and appeal the gym …

Good luck being wounded and being served up a cold shoulder by a woman's so-called "compassion." Women don't care about you or any other man—learn that lesson sooner rather than later.
/r/MensRights27/06/23 05:51 AM
0

If I want to be treated with compassion and tenderness when I'm "wounded" then men have no value compared to women. This is a bunch of tradcon/feminist bullshit and you know it. Women don't have a single bone of compassion or tenderness in their body that men don't have. I would never trust a woman to help me if I were wounded.
/r/MensRights27/06/23 05:33 AM
5

Feminism was a mistake.
/r/MensRights27/06/23 05:08 AM
3

But is it feminism? Exclusion of men from women's so-called "safe spaces" is a particularly feminist way of thinking, no? Walling out men and considering them subhumans unworthy of engaging in a particular activity doesn't exactly sound to me like the mindset of a rational ideology. They're not running the marketing campaigns Then who is?
/r/MensRights24/06/23 09:13 AM
3

The thing is that in India, yoga is considered a hypermasculine activity. And it has been for thousands of years, to the point where women doing yoga has up until fairly recently been considered laughable. But when my family came the the US, we were all weirded out by the fact that yoga studios were so exclusionary towards men. Feminism really is poisonous.
/r/MensRights24/06/23 09:02 AM
3

Stereotypes shouldn't stop you doing something you really want to do Exactly. I will never allow women to have power over me and tell me what I should or shouldn't do. If they want to exclude me, then too bad—I will continue doing what I want, and to hell with them.
/r/MensRights24/06/23 08:54 AM
8

That's exactly my point. By marketing these activities toward women only, they are being unwelcoming to a male clientele. This is the feminist goal. To eradicate men and exclude them from public life. This can be seen in my examples, but also in OP's post about mental health services.
/r/MensRights24/06/23 08:48 AM
5

It's the same thing with fitness. Men and women both need to stay in shape to live healthy lives. But look at the marketing photos for gyms, and they all feature mostly women. Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years by Indian men, but look at the website or Facebook page of any yoga studio in the West, and only women are depicted. Joseph Pilates invented his fitness discipline primarily with young men in mind. But go to the website for any major Pilates studio, and you see ZERO men and ON…

Women facing justice in a society that otherwise coddles them.
/r/MensRights23/06/23 06:09 PM
7

The best way to combat this issue is for men to take it upon ourselves to create spaces where we raise other men up. We have to find ways to create a healthy mentality and purpose for young men without requiring women to pay attention to them first. Exactly. We need to stop allowing women to exert this control over us. When we stop seeking their validation, we render them powerless over us, and nothing makes them seethe more than to be made useless the way they have done to men for decades.
/r/MensRights23/06/23 06:06 PM
2

Insecurity in men is men's problem. Insecurity in women is also men's problem. Seriously, insecurity is pathologized in men, but coddled in women. Notice that phrases like "reeks of insecurity" are uniquely applied to men, because when a woman is insecure, she is never mocked for being so.

Whether you’re obsessed with women (red pillers), avoid women (MGTOW), or express views critical of feminism as it affects men (MRAs), you just can’t win where law enforcement is concerned. Every move is a losing move. Now incels (as much as I loathe them) are in the cross-hairs. “If you can’t get laid, you’re a terrorist!” is such an evil and warped perspective both criminologically and socially. It’s all rooted in feminist egos and s*x-obsessed society pushing back against those who don’t part…

Excluding transmen from men’s rights causes is the superficial first-world concern. It's a distraction. Yes, it’s a distraction of your creation. Lmao. Nice try, feminist. We don't let them walk into our shower rooms. Speak for yourself. I’ve already mentioned elsewhere in this thread that the cleaning lady in my gym locker room isn’t somebody I have a problem with. Desegregating “safe spaces” goes a long way toward mending relations among the sexes. In countries outside the US, where desegregated spaces are the norm, there is no trend of increased assaults or other predations. You can role-play as much as you want as somebody concerned w…

It is not a man's right to be in those spaces Which is exactly why this subreddit exists. To assert rights that feminists have denied us. “Safe spaces” are a feminist scam to enforce a segregated society.
/r/MensRights26/12/22 04:54 PM

There are men in their changing rooms, bathrooms, showers, gyms, sports, and prisons. Good. What are you doing in a men’s right subreddit if you oppose access for men in public facilities? Segregating men out of women’s spaces is an affront to the very idea that we are women’s equals.

They really aren’t all that different. What’s even more interesting about gendered bathrooms, if you look into their history (at least in the US), is that it wasn’t some top-down religious or traditionalist order that made bathrooms segregated. They were segregated out of a “benevolent sexism” and internalized misandry espoused by urban liberal city planners around the time of the Second Industrial Revolution. These planners would, of course, later begin to associate themselves with the Progress…

This propaganda piece shows that women can assault men with impunity because men are acceptable targets of violence. But women, being the victim class according to feminism, have the full support of the state apparatus when they claim to be victims (even when such a claim is fully manufactured). This routine propaganda piece puts forward the feminist position so that it is constantly in people’s faces. So men can know their place.

Female criminal are arrested rarely because of the flaws in law. The single biggest flaw that I’ve seen is that a female arresting officer is required to be on scene in order to arrest a female perpetrator. Well, what you've personally seen doesn't always reflect reality, does it? It may not. Which is why I want to hear more about what you’ve seen. I don't see trans-activists fighting to join the draft, do you? In my college’s men’s rights group, the trans-men who would come to the meetings were all in favor of being added to the draft. And this was several years ago—with transgender people being more visible nowadays, there are probably more of them participating in that group on campus today.

They actually have come into this forum and claimed just that They come here to commiserate and let you know they are allied with the men’s rights cause. I have never once seen them say their experience is 100% the same. They're still treated like women where it counts, as this policy indicates. And they want to change that. Which is why the rights of trans-men is a men’s rights issue.
/r/MensRights10/10/22 11:26 PM
-7

Why use this as an opportunity to attack trans-men? Their experience may not be 100% that of cis-men, but I don’t think anybody ever claimed that. There are enough problems in common, and enough disadvantages trans-men face at the hands of a feminist society that it warrants keeping this subreddit inclusive.

Patriarchy theory is not falsifiable and therefore not a scientifically valid mode of analysis. Just because you have a tool at your disposal does not mean that the solution to every problem in the world requires the use of that tool. Insisting upon patriarchy being the root of every problem that anybody faces—men or women—and insisting that a feminist response is required to eradicate such problems borders on the mentality of a conspiracy theorist. Such thinking is willfully operating with a ma…

As a woman, you don't need to wear a women's swimsuit at the pool. At my local pool, there's a lady who had breast cancer and had to have both her breasts removed. Instead of being ashamed and insecure, she embraced her body changes and started coming to the pool topless and in swim trunks. Honestly, good for her.

I’m talking about the words “perfume” and “cologne.” Not the products themselves. But while we’re on the subject, why the heck should I care about which product I wear? If people have a problem, that’s their fault (and feminism’s fault for perpetuating societal expectations against men). Historically, fruity and flowery fragrances were the norm for both men and women—for a man to embrace them is embracing tradition, which is not inherently a bad thing.

Yes, I fully agree about the need for schools to assign better books for boys. But the "It's no wonder that boys aren't reading any more" cop-out is what I take issue with. A child's passion for reading isn't the school's responsibility to instill—it's the parents', and to a certain extent the child's own. If the only reading a boy is doing is what his feminist teachers want him to, then families have nobody to blame but themselves for the indoctrination.

There are tens of thousands of great books to choose from that are from before the current feminist era. There are plenty of great books for boys, so confining themselves to reading only modern literature is either self-sabotage or pure laziness. Also, why are people only reading what schools have in their curriculum? Reading can (and should) be a pursuit outside of what schools dictate.

By weakening the ordinary men who comprise it, you weaken the patriarchy itself. By circumcising boys and men, you create one additional victim. Each one of which is a victory for the feminist cause—each instance of trauma a reminder of who is the master and who is the slave in the feminist project. Also, foreskins are used in the cosmetics industry, especially in anti-aging creams. The clear majority consumers of these creams are women. So men’s misery plays directly into women’s vanity.

It's all based upon destroying the nuclear family The nuclear family is overrated. I’ve never been a fan. Left-wingers were the ones who invented the nuclear family, so the fact that they want to undo it is a good thing to those of us who have opposed their actions all along, no?

I have no problem with this person’s success. And I don’t say that in a “let it burn” or “this will teach the feminists a lesson!” sense—I genuinely think the best athletes should rise forward and that sports leagues should not have been gender-segregated to begin with. This was a common idea among conservatives at one point, but it’s odd to me that so many of them are so hell-bent on reversing course on that stance in 2022.

Again, you live in a bubble. Look at Christian life in Africa and Asia, and you will see plenty of arranged marriages. I just attended a friend’s Indian Catholic wedding a few weeks ago—it was arranged (as are the majority of Indian weddings in general, irrespective of religion). It's not like there is a shortage of Christians to choose from, or waysof finding them.. The purpose of an arranged marriage is not to seek out those who share your faith in a sea of people who don’t. That completely mi…

arranged marriage, which is not a part of modern Christian life Of course it is a part of modern Christian life. You should look outside of your own bubble.

If men were as open as women are with their issues, they would get a lot of "male tears," "whiny man-children," and "stop trying to make everything about men!" You left out the buzzword “fragile.” Seems to make the rounds whenever a situation like this arises.

Teeth whitening for people with natural-color teeth. It's become a fad the last three decades for people to whiten their teeth to a level of whiteness that doesn't exist naturally. Likewise, many dermatological treatments (acne scar removal, chemical peels, etc.) and plastic surgeries (lifts, augmentations, rejuvenations, etc.) are purely cosmetic and are not often considered medically necessary.

It's so strange to me that the only framework through which these sort of people can show concern for people of faith is by racializing them. I was once talking to somebody about the years immediately following 9/11 and how anti-religious prejudice and hate toward my community was rampant. They immediately jumped to "wow, racism sucks" when I never once mentioned race.

Not a moment after you raised the issue of men’s mental health not being taken seriously, you play fast-and-loose with the word “insane.” You’re part of the problem.

There are three completely different situations going on: a physical condition, a psychiatric condition, and an undeserved social stigma. The social stigma often makes reference to the two conditions, and you are correct in pointing out that that deserves its own discussion. It’s terrible to make fun of people not just because of their health but also when you disagree with their opinions and want to pass reference to their health as a cheap insult.

The micropenis subreddits will give you great insight into men's body positivity, and the uphill battle to put them at parity with the broader movement. Also, as the other commenter suggested, the prosthesis subreddits will be heavily attuned to men's role in the body positivity movement. Good luck with your research.

If you look in a men's magazine you find women if you look in women's magazine you find women we I put them on a pedestal and it has completely screwed up the balance. Yes, this is a problem. It's not just putting women on a pedestal but the fact that men have stopped appreciating their own male bodies outside of homosexual contexts. The ancient Romans built statues, wrote poetry, etc. in the service of elevating, appreciating, and extolling the virtues of the male physique. Even as recently as …

If this article were written in 2021, the author would be accused by other feminists of making unnecessary concessions to bourgeois liberal conceptions of feminism. As horrifying as this person’s worldview was in 2013, things have gotten far worse among feminists. If she’s maintained an activist career since then, it is only through radicalizing alongside the others.

Things like men shouldn't be able to show emotion This isn’t “traditional.” This notion only cropped up in the post-WWII period. they need to sleep with a lot of women to prove their worth, ect. On what planet is this a traditional value, let alone a conservative value? This value proceeds directly from the Sexual Revolution, a recent and decidedly left-wing cultural phenomenon. I’m both conservative and traditional, and to me that means procreative monogamy only. As a matter of fact, I’ve alway…

मर्द को दर्द नहीं होता (mard ko dard nahī̃ hotā) Men do not feel pain. मर्द को दर्द होता है (mard ko dard hotā hai) Men do feel pain. The whole point of this organization is to challenge the popular adage. When you translated incorrectly above, you make it seem like these crusaders think men aren't vulnerable when they clearly believe they are.

It’s not Muslims to blame, in my opinion. It’s kneejerk SJW’s who—without any provocation—think they are doing Muslims a favor by speaking for them. What a lot of people need to understand is that all the Islam-related political correctness that we hear about is hardly pushed by Muslims at all. It’s done by self-righteous liberals who Muslims don’t exactly like. And I can see why. The many Muslims I’ve met are chill. They are as opposed to homosexuality, drugs, degeneracy, etc. as I am. They wan…
