For example, when you tell her you really hope she comes to class tomorrow or you hope she doesn't miss any classes this year. What is that really saying? It tells her you don't really care about her classes or grades. The subtext is really that you would like to hook up with her, see? If you did, it's a bad thing that you chose to answer them just for her. If someone asks questions that you feel are irrelevant/annoying, you shouldn't feel the need to ever answer them just because they asked or to be polite.
