When it was to the point that I felt like I was a boxer on the ropes, I knew that it was over. I technically didn't pull the trigger as she filed. I'm a year-and-a-half Beyond the finalization. These are some of the best times of my life, brother. If you are asking the question, you already know the answer.

I'm Gardening my fruits and vegetables. I have the room, access to freshwater, and it was in my plans for this year's spring/summer home project. Now laid off from work, I have the time. One year post divorce here. My ex did the same. It was 5 weeks though. The best part ... 4 months later she tells me that she wants to move herself and the kids in with him. Being it would cross state lines I had to agree. Before doing so I had my lawyer's PI do a background check on this individual... Good thing too, as it was found out he's a convicted rapist. They are still in a relationship. No they don't live together still to this day.

You echoed the thoughts I've been having in the final weeks of my very nearly finalized Divorce. The pain I felt when she initially left 2 days after Christmas after 5 years of back and forth fighting was awful... I'm also in Michigan, fully shared joint physical and legal custody of two girls, 9 & 8. I stayed in the home and she left, but I worked my finances to where I kept both my home and another financially driven property. I agree with each and every single benefit you listed. If I may I w…
