No not at all. I would actually have no problem with my ex taking over until I had gotten it together. I don’t think I should be punished and had my kid taken away for life bc I overcame addiction and it’s part of my story. And I think going her up for adoption would’ve been a cruel secret plan.

I planned to raise the child the same way I was raised on drugs. What is wrong with that? I mean she’d test positive anyway straight from the get. That makes sense doesn’t it?

Nope. My ex basically forced me into it by scaring me saying he wasn’t going to take it and was planning to take ‘it’ from me at the hospital and give her up for adoption. He never acknowledged ‘it’ was a baby girl waving to us on the ultrasounds. I hate myself and cry a lot. I cry bc I listened. I cry bc he never said hey we will make it I’ll get formula don’t worry. Because he said her name was stupid. Said she was just a drug baby (I’m sober now but I don’t think that was a reason to kill a b…

By doing you a favor and telling you your ass is hanging out? I hate to be one of those women, but this hypothetical stuff is just looking for a reason to start conflict. You obviously have the same style and agree on real life boundaries. Try not to create a mountain out of a molehill here.
