That's fair enough. I didn't have any specific x in mind. I just think that for guys, a lot of frustration stems from the fact that, in liberal circles at least, men are expected to acknowledge that being a woman is harder in numerous ways from career advancement to safety. But when they suggest that being a man might be more difficult in some way, like dating, it gets a lot of vehement pushback.

Out of curiosity, do you feel the same when gender inequality is brought up in general? Like when women talk about how being a woman is harder because xyz, would you also disagree with that in the grounds that both genders have equal challenges.

To give a serious answer, people can state their beliefs with confidence because they genuinely believe the things they're saying, probably because it lines up with their lived experience. This obviously goes beyond pill debates though. In this case, you'd have to convince guys to genuinely believe that they are attractive and desirable, which is a tough hill to climb if in this case it directly counters their lived experience.

Don't disagree with that. Dating sucks.

If young women prioritized high standards when it came to things like indications of abuse and toxic personality traits then I would 100% agree with you. Unfortunately from what I've observed the most important criteria tend to be physical traits and dominance.

Me personally? I have no interest in casual sex because I can't enjoy intimacy without some emotional connection, so I only seek out serious relationships. I doubt most men are the same though.

Not as much as I should, but occasionally. I've been losing weight really fast from just the diet change though, so it shouldn't be long until the last layer of fat is gone.

Fair. I want a six pack or close to it, but I'm not sure I can get that now if I keep cutting vs bulking now then cutting again later.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
