My apologies. My aunt would tell me stories about the restrictions placed on women in the region. She immigrated to the U.S. from Syria, a country that neighbors Turkey, so I assumed that the conditions were somewhat similar.

This is Turkey though. In a lot of middle eastern countries, it is illegal for unrelated men and women to occupy the same space. It's not a PPD situation, but Sharia law that is causing this type of stuff.
