$150,000 is NOT the cutoff for the 1%. There are varying figures on exactly what comprises the 1% (depending on the year, whether you're basing it off of net income, net worth, etc.), but NONE of those figures say $150,000 is the cutoff. All that the Pew source tells us is that Jews have a higher percentage of their population (than other religious groups) making more than $100,000 per year.

Except it's not actually the truth. The source actually says 44% of Jews make more than $100,000 per year. The lower cutoff for the 1% is ~$429K/year according to the IRS in 2013. Just saying. http://www.pewforum.org/2009/01/30/income-distribution-within-us-religious-groups/
