I recently asked a girl in out in person much to the wide eyed amazement of my friends. I thought that was the done thing.

To quote myself from an earlier thread: This has all the hallmarks of a Tinder date gone awry.

I've always felt sexual prowess is an overlooked part of the 1 to 9 scale. I know you can't asses this before approaching but from my experience, she might be a 9 on the street but often she's little over a 5 in the sheets. I have come across this more than once.

Nah, I'm actually very picky but I only really look at the display picture, unless she's really hot or I suspect she has atrocious teeth/Myspace angles. Some will slip through the cracks inevitably.

Deceptive profile pictures, adding new pictures after I'd swiped. Oversight on my part undoubtedly.

I thought my current plate was a unicorn up until I made the mistake of messaging her when she was on her period, to which I received a torrent of snippy nonsense. I employed radio silence for a few days, let the hormones re-balance themselves, accepted and her apology (read: ferocious sex). This happened just as I was unplugging myself, I found TRP in the nick of time.

I can't deny feeling something akin to this when I get a FB add or even a Tinder match with a girl well below my own SMV. I'm more of a fan of the soft next than being a cunt about it...because I'm not a bad person. Admittedly, I am a serial unmatcher.

I've always judge the quality of my relationships with women (even casual-sexual) as how well my personality* dovetails with theirs. *bullshit.

I always point out I'm trying to have a discussion, and I have no interest in having an argument or something to the affect. The last thing you want to do is come across as condescending, that just gives an excuse to derail the conversation, you want to be firm. I'd agree that sometimes, especially in a professional environment you need to speak up, not louder.

"He wants to do it in his own time (not when I say)...I end up doing it because I can't stand the mess" Read: I am the architect of my own victimhood.

Not at all, if anything I've had to "rough up" my performance in bed to shake a reputation for being a bit too vanilla. I can't really get in to choking, face slapping and such despite requests from partners to do so.

"...back when she was falling madly in love, Lewis, a labor and delivery nurse, knew nothing about Jordan's nefarious ways. When she was handing over $5,000 for a phony security clearance, she had no clue that she was just Jordan's Woman Moron scorned. This whole narrative of withdrawing consent after the fact makes my skill crawl.

I make a point of stop talking immediately but mid-word and making a point of them hearing they've cut me off. It gives me an indication as whether they're being rude (trying to dominate the conversation by ignoring social convention) or just excited about the subject matter and worried they'll forget their point.

This was one of those things I always felt I had to put up with, if anything I was less likely to listen to my SO when she had genuine advice for me.

So she was exploiting the trust and compassion of others for personal gain? Surely this is indefensible, I don't see how even the most fervent SJWs can stand behind her now.
