LOL they used to work together and out of the blue he's like "let's have lunch...." Y'all are making a lot of excuses for her. Ever since I started applying FDS to my decisions, I can tell you I have found myself in 0 LV behavior from men. You really mean to tell me this woman got NO VIBE whatsoever from this man?? I highly highly doubt it. LVM are egregiously obvious, you can almost smell them. Whether it's in their direct actions or the subtext. This man she USED TO work with, they "kept in to…

I mean, she shouldn't have had lunch without his wife present? Why the hell does she need to have any "platonic" relations with the other sex? FDS teaches that there are no such thing as "platonic guy friends." I would have suggested a lunch date with the family where we can all catch up. At her age, I wouldn't be going on solo lunch dates with married men, wtf. We can at the very least meet at your house with your wife and kid, even if your wife decides to be elsewhere in the house. I'm sorry, …

Ya I totally agree. Like why would you give him your number? Secondly, at rye FIRST sign of a "suggestive comment" I would have blocked and deleted. I DON'T HAVE THE TIME. Sitting on your phone and continuing to text a guy who's already shown you he is creepy is extremely low value behavior for a woman.

Why would you even make the assumption that this man bought that bag on credit??? What about the video makes you think he can't afford that??? Wtf. The answer to your question is OBVIOUS. ANY PERSON living off credit with bad budgeting habits is displaying LV behavior.

I mean, you can also look at it as a personal risk and don't base it off of the idea that a woman will sink and flounder under heartbreak. I moved to a European country from the West Coast for my ex a little over 2 years ago. We dated for 1 miserable year once I got here and in that time, he was emotionally so abusive and awful. Breaking up with him and leaving that relationship shattered me and I hit rock bottom in a foreign country. But I'm a bad ass bitch and I was not going to let that exper…

I cringe at this but also don't judge because this used to be me (minus the social media posting). Thinking that if I helped him clean or cleaned for him, he'd see how amazing I was and finally show me the love I craved. 100% spot on she posts this on social media for validation because she isn't getting what she needs in that relationship.

I totally agree and I stepped away from reading this sub because I think there's a lot of extreme, hateful rhetoric that's gets spewed on here. And it's always like the most abhorrent stories/experiences made to be like "all men are like this, this will be YOUR experience too" and it's like wtf? Nah sis, not at all. Sometimes I think this sub doesn't advocate enough self accountability. Like if you've been dating for a long time and you claim that ALL your experiences have been with trash/abusiv…

It's not, people are projecting their own experiences here.

THANK YOU!!! It's actually been super gross seeing those posts and like all the smoke being blown up people's ass for essentially acting like a bitch with no manners. Like damn, a real queen wouldn't even care and would just leave their ass on read. A HVW isn't going around responding to shitty pick up lines with attitude, she's just moving along with her life. If you need to respond to low effort pick up lines with negativity then you are not HW imo, you are insecure and reacting. If you are tr…

AMEN!! I've come back into dating and 10/10 am embedding this mentality and expectation into my dating. If he can't do the simple loving task of coloring in his partner as the relationship progresses then NEXT.

Ya I didn't watch game of thrones until last year (finally paid for HBO Go) and I was shocked and disgusted. In the first episode alone there is rape, jesus. I couldn't believe that THIS SHOW was so popular and it made me look at all of my female friends that are die hard fans in a different way. They too are desensitized to violence against women or were just subconsciously trying so hard to be cool and relatable. I couldn't get past the first few episodes like wtf man.

I just saw and read the first page. WOW. I can't even.....I'm disgusted and heart-wrenched. Jesus fucking christ, what is wrong with these men? It's hard to believe these people are real and seriously have these depraved, sadistic perspectives.

Excellent! I've vocalized this opinion to other women and am met with "oMg my bf and I TrUsT each other" bla bla blah. They are trying so hard to be the ~cool girl~ while their bf is literally choosing to spend his time liking soft porn pictures/videos on Instagram. It IS a big deal and says volumes about how much he values you and quite frankly, how much he values his time. Like really dude, you're a grown ass man choosing to spend your time flicking through soft porn. EW.

Amen!! This feminist bullshit mainstream rhetoric is brainwashing women into thinking that free use of their body is empowering. I too believed this for years and all it brought me was shame and pain. I used to think it was something about ME but now I understand that this is the real world and no man is going to look at you and think, "what an empowered woman 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽" also, casual sex is often disappointing and worthless so why even pretend like you're enjoying it. My rebellion and empowerment…

He's a sugar daddy, not a HWM. How do you not see that?

I am coming to terms with this more and more each day. Damn, it's hard though. It's hard to imagine a life with someone in which I can't openly and freely talk about myself and all the life that I lived which brought me to the point when I met them (hypothetically speaking).

This cuts so deep and I still struggle with the idea that I have to withhold information about my life in order to continue to be worthy is some dudes eyes. That's essentially what you're arguing, that if we want to maintain an image as a HVW we have to not expose parts of our past that could devalue us. I'd like to think that a HWM wouldn't give 2 shits about someone's sexual past but I think those men are far and few. My ex boyfriend, the guy I thought was the love of me life, constantly degra…
