This is a crime: possession of child pornography.

I mean, he’s not wrong though. If a guy is near me and I’m alone, be it at the gym, store, restaurant, whatever, I will 100% move, whether I think they will hit on me or not. I just don’t want them in my space.

I’m married for over 10 years and I lived in a different state for 18 months for work (15 hour drive each way and my hvm made the drive every other weekend to see me, ladies that’s high effort). During those 18 months I had no friends but some of my nicest times were having a glass of wine and a nice dinner by myself. It’s really a self care that more women need, IMO.

I have “unnatural dyed” hair and tattoos. I’ve also only had one sexual partner (my hvm husband of over 10 years), 2 science degrees, 4 publications, and a well-paying job. But nice try, ugly, uneducated, unemployed, kissless “woke” dudes.

In college, through friends. Been married over 10 years now. Kid free, but 4 dogs of course!

Same, and if I reach out he texts back ASAP, not the next day. I’m thinking I may have to phase out this friend also. Not just the pick-me stuff but also pushing my personal boundaries (strip club and the like).

I have a new-ish friend who is a total pick-me, and it’s so cringe. We went on a weekend girls trip and her bf barely texted her, she said “he wants me to have fun, doesn’t want yo bother me.” Ok. Then constantly having me take pics of her in suggestive poses to text to him. And wanting to go to a strip club, so I finally put my foot down on that. Then asking me how I got my husband to marry me, and I’m thinking “literally the opposite of everything you’re doing.”

I agree with this. I’ve been married to the man (hv) for 14 years but I prioritized getting married above career. It all worked out (I have both now) but took longer than it should have.

The idea or “fact” that men are rational and logical and women are not is the thing that infuriates me most.

I’m so happy you asked! She is 5 year old sulcata (native to Saharan Africa) and her name is Alabama. I name my tortoises mostly from pop culture and often from Tarantino. While not perfect, I think Tarantino tries to give us good female characters. Alabama was the female protagonist in True Romance, and she used a corkscrew to absolutely FUCK UP James Gandolfini. Has stuck with me for so long. I’ll do another post with pics, Alabama is an active lady!

Ha! Nice when someone actually has heard of the breed. I have a presa, a Corso, a boerboel, and a Boston terrier lol. Not for the inexperienced handler, but as you said, no one is coming at me or my property.

If you want a dog that is already trained that will cost you a lot. I have 3 breeds of mastiff, which is a lot and I don’t recommend if you don’t have a lot of experience. If you want to train them in protection you’ll need a trainer/decoy who has experience with the breed (protection training is different for shepherds v mastiffs). A good breed for a beginner would be an adult German Shepherd.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
