I’m not saying they should be your responsibility, but if you want to have good relationships with people, it is probably wise to understand that people aren’t typically direct and blunt communicators in most cases

That’s not what’s being asked about here. In those cases, which I’ve actually read, the boys were willing participants in the sex. Therefore not “forced penetration”

It’s unbelievable because of more than the nature of how erections come about. Women are smaller and weaker and on average less sexually aggressive than men

Castle Rock v Gonzalez and Deshaney v Winnebago both firmly establish the government has NO duty to protect citizens from the potential harm of other citizens. They have no power to enforce red flag laws whatsoever.

I’m not willing to sacrifice due process. It will be abused. It’s totally unacceptable. Charge them with a crime and get a conviction or do nothing. We do not want a precedent of government deciding when it’s okay to violate due process

A lot of times you have sex and instantly after you finish you really don’t want to be around her anymore. It’s not anything necessarily wrong with her, it’s just that you only wanted to have sex and now that you’ve done that, you realize you think she’s boring or something like that. I’ve been with girls who I really thought I liked and then instantly as the sex was over I just wanted to get away from her.

If you feel that’s a strategy for a happy relationship then go for it
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 08:04 PM

Even if it was habitual that doesn’t necessitate that she enjoyed it. It could very well have been the case that some previous guy didn’t care that whether she liked it and demanded it anyway. Again, if you decide you don’t want to be with a woman who doesn’t do some particular sex act, fine. But I think YOU would be better served if you thought about what you wanted and enjoyed instead of making sure you’re getting the same thing some other person may or may not have gotten. Like if I was datin…

No. Having performed an act does not mean that she enjoyed the act, but setting that aside I think men are better off just ignoring her past and focusing on having good sex with her. What’s her reason? Does she just hate doing them or is she not attracted to/turned on by you? Each situation is different but your decision shouldn’t hinge on what you imagine she’s done in her past. If she’s not attracted to you or turned on by you, it could be that you’re not doing something right or that you just…

Y’all gotta stop agonizing over “sexual best”. It’s just a way to torture yourself mentally. If she’s enthusiastically and regularly having sex with you then just enjoy it and have fun. Be more focused on having good sex with her than what she may or may not have done with someone else before you.

What’s frustrating to me is ‘African American’ is the correct way to refer to someone like Elon, who immigrated from Africa. The catch-all term African American allows dark immigrants to move here and take advantage of things meant for the descendants of slaves. I prefer the term Negro, which is funny because most all black people were fine with that term until Jesse Jackson decided it was tantamount to the hard R. Negro or ADOS are far more appropriate for us as they identify us as uniquely Ame…

For anyone who does, technology has been huge for my marriage. I can see and talk to my wife and my daughter when I’m gone. 20 years ago when all they could get was a phone call was probably brutal for couples. But I can see pictures and videos of my wife that keeps my eyes on her. Still definitely risky for women I get it but I’m just saying there’s ways to mitigate risk

It’s just too easy to get away with. At my airline we typically get two weeks on and two weeks off and the senior guys go to the same regions. So you could live in Texas and then regularly fly to and around the northeast. It would be super easy to have girlfriends along the East coast that your wife would never learn about

This is anti pilot racism and I am DISGUSTED Jokes aside I have seen other pilots cheat somewhat shockingly regularly. I’ve heard guys talk glowingly about their wives and kids and then seen the same guys kissing some women thousands of miles away a from where his wife and kids live

People are generally unreliable as far as expressing what they’ll accept or what they want from the opposite sex. We attribute the best intentions to ourselves and rationalize inconsistencies. I tell myself my fiancée smile is the first thing I noticed. It was probably her boobs in all likelihood. This is why men listen to other men because it’s exploiting the knowledge of myriad men and comparing that with our own observations. Women know what women think they want, but not how to attract a wom…

I do. Men who spend time around SO’s do. When you see how much they do to make themselves attractive it’s nuts. Men have to intimate if and only if they want the woman. Other than that, just don’t.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 04:44 PM

Correct. They need to make themselves available. Correct. They spend their time by forgoing any of their other options of which we all know there are often many. Women’s youth and beauty doesn’t last forever so their time is more valuable than ours at the same age because men tend to get MORE attractive as they age through their 20s while women are on an opposite trajectory. Eh, depends what you mean by chase. They certainly need to adjust their behaviors to incentivize a man they want to not st…

Women supply plenty of romance. They’re very affectionate and engaging when they like you. They ask lots of questions, the love to be close etc
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 04:31 PM
2

It’s a complicated question. I think it’s a combo of fatherless men raised by single mothers, maybe hormonal birth control contributing to the lower T thing, over exposure and time around women making men behave more like them, a lack of competence makes men feel, appropriately, useless.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 04:13 PM
2

Of course they do. Making themselves sexy and available IS effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 04:06 PM
10

A reaction is an action though. Women don’t merely show up, they have to be pretty. And more work goes into that than most men give them credit for. Beyond that, women have to have personalities too. The assertion that women aren’t taking actions to facilitate dating is solipsism. They just take different actions. Some do and some don’t. That doesn’t really tell us anything. In reality I’d wager most women in long term relationships definitely do take actions to maintain the relationship. Being …
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 04:05 PM
16

The idea that women do not take an active role in romantic relationships is male solipsism. We tend to be understandably (to a certain point) blind to what women do to make relationships and romance happen. It is true that women are reactive, but that doesn’t mean that romance just happens to them. They have to make themselves available and responsive. Women work to maintain relationships as well and ignoring that is a disservice to yourself as well as to her. Failing to recognize what your SO d…

What I’m doing is explaining how most women view the things you listed. Most women won’t want to be slapped in the face, but I’d think they were okay with it on the butt. I’m a guy, btw. Your exes who did that were not the norm. It could also have been performative in nature. For you. Idk I wasn’t there and idk them. Well I disagree. Trends exist. That’s not what “pornsick” means. Pornsick means your dick is limp when making out or kissing and that you NEED stuff like anal and dirty talk and weird role plays to get it up. It’s no secret women like men to be slightly assertive or aggressive during sex and the stuff you mentioned, aside from maybe choking, is not even close to what pornsick men want. In fact, it’s downright Puritan in comparison. Now gag inducing blowjobs is something I think women do to coolgirl. But that’s not anything mo…

Stop thinking about this garbage and just live your life. No one ever ever ever ever ever ever ever mentions this in real life. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a person say “slutshaming” in real life before. Who cares about what some random person online says. I bet there’s people online who would criticize my relationship as being sexist and terrible and blah blah blah who fucking cares it has no influence on my life so why should I care at all

As a guy who takes a lot of care for my appearance (I get my eye brows threaded and have had manicures and pedicures before, I have cocoa butter every where, I do face masks with my gf every now and then), I’d say no. Not like women. These qualities are mostly not attractive ones for men. Women don’t necessarily like guys who are as into their looks as I am. That said, guys should know how to wear clothes that fit, how to smell nice, how to out together a decent outfit. Be presentable.

Porn is generally just destructive for male sexuality. Makes them gross to women
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/19 07:17 PM

So? Get over it. There’s no law forcing anyone to be a insecure loser.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/19 02:45 PM

Or they could just be neurotic messes. Sometimes victims are to blame because they’re victims of their own bullshit
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/19 07:11 AM

Shorter men are probably more likely to be insecure and gross to women because of that insecurity than taller men.

I try to listen to women as sparingly as possible when it comes to dating/booking up with women as a man. I trust my observations based on experience. Experience says she was down to clown. Women can scream for years whatever they want. Women respond to all kinds of things they would claim is repulsive when they’re attracted to the man doing them. When did I call myself “this old man”? I don’t care about women being uncomfortable, rape accusations are fake news and nothing to worry about if you …

I’d never “hold”. It’s a kiss, it’s never hurt anyone. I feel like if women sense apprehension in moments like this, it’s a turn off for them. Just Go for it and rejecting the advance is her job.

At least 3 members of management are banging right now and at least 5 have banged in the past. I slept with my direct boss a few months ago. He’d be fine. On top of that, this girl would just call him a creep and move on.

It’s always been my understanding and experience that men you don’t know are hazards to be avoided in most cases. Go ask women you know how’d they feel if a strange man was walking near them on a sidewalk.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/19 04:36 AM

If a person or group of people tend to take more violent actions and are known to have more frequent violent tendencies or inclinations, I think it’s fine to say that those people are violent. These types of statements are always made relatively as well. If I say black people are athletic, it’s understood I mean in relation to other groups of people divided by race, and not in relation to, for example, Siberian Tigers.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/19 10:58 PM
1

Wouldn’t all that be able to be traced back to nature? The point of me asking my questions is to get to why would the men be more violent than the women when living in the same culture. Why would men come to be expected to behave more violently than women would
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/19 10:42 PM

Where does culture come from? Are men and women in these cultures in equal numbers?

What do you mean about culture? What types of circumstances?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/19 10:25 PM

What do you think is meant by me saying “men are violent?”
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/19 09:29 PM

Where do cultural expectations come from? I didn’t ask what the expectations are, I asked where they come from.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/19 09:25 PM

What is the difference between men being violent and men being more likely than women to be violent?Where do cultural expectations come from?

/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/19 05:10 AM

The other person’s feelings are their problem. I don’t mean this in an edge lord type of way, but I do mean it insofar as you should test the waters for yourself and if she ends up with her feelings hurt because you decide you don’t want her, that’s just life. Same could easily happen to you. Idk how to answer the list component. It’s always been pretty apparent to me when I just wanted a girl because she was hot to me vs when I wanted her to be MY girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/19 04:56 AM
11

When I was single I definitely wanted a gf because I eventually want to get married and start a family, but I wasn’t in a rush to lock a girl down. When I met my current gf, I pretty quickly knew I wanted HER to be my gf.

This doesn’t line up with what ive observed in my experiences. You don’t always need witty things to say. Idk what makes you think that. You know what doesn’t come naturally for most people? Running 4 miles a day. That’ll be really, really difficult at first. You may not even finish. But over time it’ll get easier and easier for you until one day you’re thinking “4 miles is nothing”. A lot of times it’s like someone who sits at a Texas Holdem table and wants to play Seven Card Stud and then complains about the rules and how everyone else at the table is playing it wrong.

Generalities are good, but not always correct. For example, last year during a week 15 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tom Brady drive his team into the red zone and faced a dime package in what appeared to be a pretty normal Cover 3 zone alignment before the snap. There was a linebacker on Josh Gordon in the slot and a corner split out wide on James’s White with a single high safety in the middle of the defensive back-field so this looks a lot like cover 3 zone. Tom Brady calls a verti…

The moral badness isn’t what they want. Maybe it’s the ability to dominate other men, or the assertiveness, the confidence, the fearlessness. Those are the qualities they would be attracted to. Women aren’t attracted to Issei Sagawa.

I’ll take this chance to chime in as a 5’10”, black, lower class man who’s had lots of success with women. If you’re really tall, fit, intelligent and women still aren’t interested then it may be time to ask yourself whether you’re fun to be around or not and whether you’re fun to talk to or not? A chip on your shoulder isn’t attractive, for example.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:51 PM
4

Point to where I, the OP, said someone is aiming too high. Less attractive men have less success? 😲. Duh. Good thing “attractive” is not purely a function of looks. What experience has informed your view? How much have you actually witnessed this in life and not via stories online? Because it’s bullshit.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:44 PM
5

Normal men learn the mating ritual
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:42 PM
4

So you’re moralizing reality instead of living in it. Now you’re sayin attractiveness is bad character. This mindset is why you’re not having success
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:42 PM
1

Successful with women implies the characteristics i mentioned in the OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:22 PM
9

You’re defining attractive behaviors as “asshole character”. You’re moralizing reality instead of living in it. This is remarkable you’re actually doing exactly what I said in the OP. This lack of awareness is something else.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:21 PM
3

Because they can, most of the time. I mentioned this in the OP. The men you’re talking about are a negligible portion of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:19 PM
5

There’s always been a mating ritual. You don’t want to play the game? Fine. But complaining about the rules is poor character. “Chasing pussy is pretty much the opposite of masculinity.” And swimming is the opposite of being a fish
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:16 PM
9

If other people were selling them successfully, then yeah just adjust your existing business. The men failing in the marketplaces are selling a product no one wants any variance of and refusing to offer something else
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:10 PM
6

Because they don’t. Two things can be true at once. Women don’t need men, so you have to make them want you. And making them want you is not excessively difficult
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:07 PM
6

”But if you’re born into a middle class neighborhood, getting into that decent school will likely come to you with less difficulty.” I think these men look and see that dating and having casual sex is easier for someone else and are outraged at the thought of having to do more work to get the same result that someone else got easier. Bad character.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:06 PM
12

If someone told you: “people are willing to pay millions for your old socks.” And you opened a business selling your old socks, and no one came wanting to buy, wouldn’t it be bad character to just complain about how customers are dumb rather than accept you were wrong and to try something else to be competitive in the market?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 10:02 PM

What did I just say about OLD? Masculinity?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/19 09:58 PM

Most of MGTOW are just incels who said “you can’t fire me, I quit.” If you’re saying there are some “MGTOW” men who are basically choosing to live as bachelors, if he skeptical because the type of man who does this has most likely not heard of what MGTOW is.

This is no way implies some morality to the SMP/RMP. There’s no morality it’s just experience informing a worldview. See, you’re the one moralizing. “Bad people get laid”. Attractive people get laid. Be attractive. And no, that does not ONLY mean physically gifted. This type of thinking is the bad character I was talking about.

The female imperative is fixed towards selecting the male to procreate with who will pass on the best possible genes to her children and protect them. A girl you hook up with but have no desire at all to pursue a relationship with. After sex she hounds you with messages across social media about what she likes about you and what she wants out of a relationship and especially when she mentions her past at all. Hmm I’d say my gf is baby crazy but wants to wait until she finishes school. We’re practicing chastity now but before we had lots of sex. She also follows these instagrams with parents and their kids and sends them to me like “this could be ussss”. Oh also I should mention my gf is 23. I’m not put off by it because I want kids.

Why has there not been a historical trend of women abandoning kids from previous relationships and there has been one of men doing it? This is why we have child support laws

Men like goofing off with kids for a while, but we don’t like taking care of them or feeding them. That’s a woman thing.

The “peer review” flair is an ongoing joke. The comment you replied to said that men’s love for children is dependent upon the relationship with the mother. You mentioned your grandfather...who had a good relationship with his wife.

I don’t believe in peers or sources. Do you think men who sacrifice their lives to protect their families DONT have good relationships with their wives? I mean, given your grandfather’s were writing letters to their wives I’d think that meant she was in good standing with him.

That confrontation...that IS violent. That would never occur to a woman. That’s such a masculine thing to do. You went into another man’s territory and told him “your girl is at my house and you can’t see her.” And you use THAT as an example to say your nature isn’t violent. Lol I guess you did outsource the physical violence to police but the point still stands. You literally went into another man’s land, took his woman, told him he couldn’t have her back, then married her off to your friend. A…

Why did men so flippantly abandon families throughout history before there were government structures in place to make this extremely inconvenient?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/19 02:56 AM

Statutory rape is not a concept in nature it’s one in law. Men only care about “does she look fuckable”. Men like to see their enemies suffering and in pain. Men like to solve problems with other men with violence. We don’t because those behaviors don’t always fit so well in modern society. But the nature of men hasn’t significantly changed since Genghis Khan. We’re still that guy on the inside

Laying hands on a woman is not the only way violent nature is expressed. How do you make sure it doesn’t happen again? You haven’t hit a girl. Me neither. Our underlying nature is still violent.

I think of it more as a consequent if experience than some special female exclusive way of subconsciously judging people. I grew up in very poor very violent neighborhoods. When I’ve taken my friends who grew up in wealthier and safer places their behavior is insane to me because they constantly make themselves targets. The only reason I’m aware of these things is because of experience showing me what kinds of behaviors have gotten people robbed or beaten or killed.

It’s praised in men because getting women to sleep with them tends to mean the man is high value. Having lots of men willing to invest time and resources and commitment into a woman BEFORE sec signals her value. Women sexual strategy is to be selective while men’s is basically buckshot. It’s not because of how impressive it is but because the metric for what is a highly valuable person is different for men and women

Oh, no. I still hold that no normal man would be okay dating a woman who dresses like a man and then call himself gay. But that is not the topic. The topic was whether or not normal men, most men, think sex=love I such a way that a lack of sex will make them believe you do not love them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/19 05:08 AM

Okay. So you only date men for whom sex is not a priority in a relationship. These men are abnormal.

I think you’re in the minority with your view. Things change with time and I’d say that feminism is generally a relatively progressive ideology focused on the social and legal advancements of women. In 2019, women’s suffrage isn’t a progressive view. And based on that, I would not say it’s enough to consider one a feminist by today’s standards anymore than I would say someone who’s against slavery has a progressive view of the state of black people in America.

Remember when we talked about that SC case where it’s technically legal for states to mandate certain medical procedures? My guess is, like you said before, that would be overturned today. And again, I’m not advancing this argument any further. I was wrong

Jesus Christ poppy. Listen. I just had this talk on IRC with 2 other women. They made arguments that my suggestion wasn’t a particularly good one. I conceded. The difference between you and them is that you have an axe to grind and you make engaging with you a chore. This place I supposed to be fun. Remember fun? It’s that thing the rest of us try to have before you show up.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/19 04:57 PM

Jesus. No one wants to talk to someone who’s immediately condescending, dismissive, and rude. Presumably, three people who the test would be relevant to are present. Mom, baby, and maybe. Baby is already having various measurements taken and vaccinations and the like. How much more inconvenient is a paternity test? In fact, it seems imminently convenient and useful to do the test as soon as possible. I don’t understand why you’re so against this.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/19 04:40 PM
2

Yes. I am serious. A woman could be having sex with multiple men but for whatever reason think one is the father and end up being wrong. A way to circumvent her potential wrongness is an auto paternity test at birth. Get angrier, please.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/19 04:07 PM
6

Well no. The justice system is aimed at society functioning without infringing upon people’s rights without letting emotion cloud judgement. It has it’s failures but the best motion forward is to not knowingly make more errors. You admit my suggestion will achieve your goal, but instead you want to forgo that winnable argument for one that is much less likely to persuade anyone in the name of balancing scales. To what end, I do not know.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/19 03:56 PM

I don’t think your argument will persuade anyone. It seems that you’re more interested in revenge than a favorable outcome. You wanna be right, or you wanna be effective?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/19 03:48 PM

Why not just have an auto paternity test at birth even within marriage and allow men to opt out if they wish? Seems to be a simpler way to achieve what you’re trying to achieve

It doesn't make much sense to me that social stigma wouldn't keep a couple from getting married in the first place but it would cause them to get divorced. You need to explain why social stigma is too weak to impact a relationship in the first case, yet strong enough to end one in the second. If that is true, you need to improve your reading comprehension. Also, we get it. You’re enjoying your Logic 101 course.

For me, the wall refers more to child bearing years because I want a LTR, marriage, and children. I think there is an example of how the ways we use language can lead to confusion or disagreements here. When did I make the contention that predators are murderers? When did I say humans aren’t capable of empathy? Women and men are the same species. They don’t hunt each other- - It’s an analogy. How are you defining “mutually cooperational?” Women don’t think that way. I’m not saying the articulate things that way in their minds. I am saying that it’s my view that things ARE that way, though. And again, I never said anyone should fear anyone.

I’m 26 now and I want them by 30. And we do have biological limitations. I don’t want to be an old broken down dad, I want to be active and healthy with my kids. So that makes me conscious of my age

Mine is mid 20s. Not that high for my age at 26. For guys actually trying to get laid i would say it’s average to below. High would be high 30s low 40s for a mid 20s guy, in my opinion

If there’s been a shift in behaviors of women then there was probably a shift in behaviors of men that lead to it. The sexes respond to each other. If women are more prone to waiting, then it’s probably because the incentive to dive into bed is gone. Absent of just really liking an average guy, what’s the incentive to dive into bed and have crazy sex? Maybe it’s that women have more options thanks to the internet? Idk. I think most men should get off OLD and go out into the world to meet women.

I don’t think it still happens to en masse, but I do think it happens. But even ignoring that, it doesn’t seem too difficult to make decent money camming or doing the twitch thing for a decently attractive girl.

Women have it easier as it pertains to getting what men want: sex. Some women (attractive and lucky ones) also have the ability to not have to work for a specific lifestyle. Idk how common this is, though. I’ve seen a lot of sugar babies with their daddies at my hardware store. Also stuff like cam show girls and twitch thots. Most guys don’t see that as work because a lot of guys would like to sit at home in their underwear and play games/masturbate and get paid for it. Not all women can do this…

The nature of online dating is different to that of real life dating. I think the data from these sites is reliable as it pertains to online dating but should be taken with a grain of salt as it pertains to real life interactions. An average confident guy in person will have more success than an above average shy guy online.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/19 06:17 AM

My standards got higher since I really started dating, not being afraid of rejection is good advice, and since this is just about sex I don’t think the lower your efforts thing is particularly bad advice. It’s just that it’s weird to me. If you have lots of options your effort is automatically lowered because it’s distributed over multiple people. It’s weird to think of intentionally lowering my effort, though

I’m not so sure. I’ve seen traditionally attractive guys who are awkward put off women who then went on to sleep with/date less physically attractive guys. There’s lots of variables to this but generally speaking, and ignoring extremes, I’d wager confident, charismatic ugly guys would have very similar rates of success with shy attractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/19 04:20 AM

I went on a field trip in high school to the federal courthouse in downtown stl. We went to speak with a federal judge but before we got that chance, we sat in the court room during a sentencing and she sentenced a guy to I think 20 years in prison. When I read the words “criminal cases” it reminded me of this and it blows my mind to think that guy is still in prison right now unless he’s dead. Lol random but still that’s nuts to me

To what extent? I’m curious about this whenever I see it brought up so may as well ask an attorney. I get how an expert like a doctor’s testimony can be evidence, but if I take the stand and say my wife was emotionally abusive, wouldn’t that fall into being my word vs hers?

I’d think that most people being emotionally abused by their spouses wouldn’t have recording the abuse at the front of their minds. The point I think poppy is making is that there’s a lot of context surrounding emotional abuse. What if I’m calling my wife a dumb fat bitch in front of her? I’m much bigger and stronger than she is so she could be afraid to try and record it because of potential consequences. It isn’t as cut and dry as you’re making it seem

Emotional abuse seems subjective up to a certain point, but after thinking about it a bit more you’re right there could be some ways to prove some forms of of emotional abuse. I guess it depends on how the courts would define emotional abuse.

If you can’t document either then no-fault divorce is reasonable, but if you can, I’d think that should be taken into account. And as far as emotional abuse, courts can’t adjudicate everything, but we can account for certain types of abuse and infidelity. I think of it as being like rape insofar as we can all “know” Johnny raped Cindy but we can’t put Johnny in prison unless we have enough evidence to convict. So while Johnny may be emotionally abusive to his wife, it’s much less possible to acc…

Oh okay I’ll try to answer. Physical characteristic for alpha: meets basic level of fitness, has good shoulder to waist ratio, avg height to tall, dresses well Physical characteristics for beta: tough to answer for me because I think there’s a wide range. I think alphas are dominant and aggressive and impulsive, while betas are more restrained and passive and contemplative If he’s allll the way on the end of the alpha scale Tryler Durden style then no marriage for alpha. I agree relationships should be reciprocal, but I’m also not going to be keeping score. I’ll do nice things when I want to and If I eventually notice that I’m the only one sacrificing or giving(bearing in mind love languages could be different), id end the relationship.

This isn’t really what ppd is for but I’ll try to answer. I don’t intend for this to be mean, but it really seems like you need to spend a lot of time around people and get to know how we operate in relationships. The Hollywood version of love is dumb and annoying and not reflective of reality. People love their spouses for tons of reasons. The anger phase is exaggerated for normal, no neurotic people. It’s more like the ‘mild frustration’ phase. At least that’s what it was like for me. I think most people would agree that frustration is a part of the learning process. I had a professor explicitly state that. I think your analogy fails because drinking isn’t such a natural, desired part of life as dating and sex. I’m 26 and never drank seriously until maybe 6 weeks ago and never even had an urge to do so. I worked out and got hotter and sure women noticed me more and flirted more but I didn’t get laid until my behaviors changed. And yeah the idea that you should maximize your physical attractiveness is no secret. In aviation we have a saying that if something goes wrong, you either want a lot of ideas on what went wrong and how to fix it, or you want a lot of altitude so you have more time to come up with ideas. Well, in dating, you either want extremely good looks to get women to sleep with/date…

Doesn’t the red pill encourage you o get out of the anger phase? I could be wrong but I remember the general idea being “we get you’re frustrated and angry but get over it, accept reality, and then get to work”. Incels are the ones who never leave the anger phase.

They want children in general, but have a set of qualifications for a man to be a potential father. For instance, a woman may generally want children, but have a qualification that she only wants children with someone of the same ethnicity as she is. She wants a baby, doesn’t have a specific man in her mind yet, but has an idea of what he’ll be like.

It’s way way way easier to get casual sex than you’re making it out to be. Most men could get it with a little effort. If you went out every weekend to clubs/bars with the intent of getting laid, I’d bet even ugly men could have casual sex with 10 women in a year

Stoicism is a useful skill, sure, but stoicism does not mean to not show any emotion, and neither does it mean to not take emotion into account when analyzing the world. I think for me it can be boiled down to, “I would prefer it if I didn’t have to reject you, but I do. I’m sorry that will hurt you, but I’ve got my own issues to deal with and I’ve been rejected too, so you can survive this and forget about me.”
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/19 06:03 PM

I know a lot of guys take that pickiness personally and I do as well until I thought about how quickly and unfeelingly I wasn’t interested in or rejected a woman I wasn’t into for one reason or another (and when I say unfeeling I don’t mean I was rude or insulting, just that I didn’t feel badly about not being interested for more than a few moments). I think it’s a time issue. I don’t want to waste any time on someone I’m not interested in.

I can speak to the truth of this. I’m still just a pilot student but every time I’ve mentioned it on a date or to a woman I’m interested in, she’s super interested in hearing me ramble on about aviation stuff and I’ve always felt that had more to do with how excited I was about it than the earning potential, though I’m sure the earning potential matters to some degree, and fairly.

That’s true. But from what I’ve seen, and this is purely anecdotal, women are far more willing to help other women date. For one it’s not an attractive or typically socially acceptable thing for men. I’ve seen women straight up give guys their friend’s number or tell him she’s into him or something like that. I haven’t really seen this paralleled in men. I lost a large amount of weight and despite looking good in clothes, I have some loose skin(pic album attached). I’ve had it happen where women were into me but then grossed out by my skin. What’s your advice to deal with this? How bad is my skin? https://imgur.com/a/iXGLuZf
