I get the meaning of this post, and I respect it. Male suicide prevention is rarely discussed in our social climate and I agree that it needs to change. That’s because you’re assuming that my claim of “common” implies that they are active every day or week. The fact that the rallies still exist and happen is already too common. The argument was that governments can’t actually do anything about it. You can call it a scapegoat but the burden of proof is on something you haven’t even asked me to quantify or make specific. You’ve clearly just watched a YouTube video about fallacy’s and want to use them in an argument online.

But it is the case. You can host events for whoever you’d like, nothing is actually stopping you from doing that. White supremacist/nationalist rallies are still really common. Even this festival was an example of people organising an event for one demographic and people attending.

I think you’re being a little hyperbolic. This will not affect suicide rate. It just won’t. Radical feminists already see men as “rapists” because females already don’t come under the term (legally/statistically speaking), thanks to the shitty judicial system that Switzerland is trying to tackle. You think that’s all it’s going to “accomplish”? Charging more rapists for rape isn’t a bad thing, this law will allow justice for Male victims of rape (with Male perpetrators). Also it’s not like female rapists get away with it 100% of the time, they’re just charged differently, which we can agree is wrong.

I feel like we see way to many of these to have to still argue.. any time I try to bring up this issue with anyone they claim the cases are too few and far in between, but that’s clearly not the case.
