OP like yourself I am pretty socially well adjusted as well but tend to have too much internal chatter in my head and being overly analytical. You have to get her number with the frame that you ARE hitting on her, not for some friend-zone "get to know you" bs otherwise she'll either flake or stop responding when you try to get her out.
