2	I've never missed a child support payment and now the enforcement attorney is trying to stiff arm me.. The lawyer did nothing this is SOP for arrears. It was incredible how nonchalantly they handled the entire situation. Very few mothers are given NCP ( non custodial parent) status and such would never be treated this way. The men treated the worst were usually 30-45 and black they tended to catch the worst of the worst in my opinion. One guy that only fell behind of being out or work got arrested for being behind. That is the thing about family court cases they last the length left until the kid/kids reach 18. So it is really hard to quantify just who gets the short end of the stick. But I would have to say the women that were hell bent on making life miserable for the NCP sure had it very easy. On the other hand I believe the judges that handled the cases I worked on were all very fair and good people and genuinely believed they were always helping the kids first. IV-D Court cases for the state and county is where you end up with the worst family courst cases, delinquent payment, restraining orders, abuse, cps intervention, etc. The greatest miscarriage of justice is usually perpetrated against the children by the parents using them as pawns.
