9	The phase "men are killed by other men" and the phase "men are afraid of other men" contradict each other. Comparing "men commit 99% of rapes" to 13/50 does not make sense though, as the only studies that find that men make up 99% of rapes are obviously sexist ones. 3	All these countries bringing back conscription makes me scared that canada will bring back conscription. The reason why Canada was so brutal in those wars was cause their military was mostly/all made of volunteers. The sort of person who would volunteer for a far off war is more likely to be brutal than someone who was forced to be there. Same reason why Australians were seen as brutal during the World Wars, if you were in Europe than most the Canadians/Australians you fight would be officially volunteers.	/r/MensRights	22/08/24 03:44 AM
14	All these countries bringing back conscription makes me scared that canada will bring back conscription. LMAO, of all countries Canada is one of the least likely to bring back conscription. They haven't had peacetime conscription in living memory (which can't be said about most countries) and the time they had conscription (during WW2) conscripts weren't liable to serve outside of North America till the very end of the war and the conscription issue almost tore the country apart. Unless Canada is directly attacked, conscription is very very unlikely to happen.	/r/MensRights	22/08/24 03:37 AM
4	It will certainly be interesting to see how women/feminists react to artificial wombs if and when they become a reality, as it will allow men to have children without women and therefore take a substantial amount of power from them TBF a lot of feminists really hate surrogacy, and the sort of people who think artificial wombs are "unnatural" are more likely to have other weird beliefs which cause them to be against gay adoption.	/r/MensRights	11/07/23 08:47 PM
