Career Motivatiion Differences Between Men and WomenActing out of guilt is the opposite of selfish. The fact that you are feeling guilty is proof that you aren't selfish at all. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/05/21 08:28 AM
Career Motivatiion Differences Between Men and WomenI seriously doubt that. Male or female, the kind of person who wants to live such a stripped down life is, in my opinion, rather rare.Ime women are not more or less likely to be materialistic, even though it might look like that because women consume more (read more often, as in cheaper things) and they consume things that seem "frivolous" to men. Men buy just as much, just different things. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 21/05/21 08:26 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...I don't believe women generally like to keep orbiters around, I'd imagine it to be annoying. I think it's an exception (like 0.1% of all women) who would do this, and then they'd probably view it as a career, I'm thinking camgirls and the like. And in that case... I think it's toxic, not morally wrong. The difference being that no one is coerced into participating, they just kind of do, like an addiction. Back to freindships: My best friend for example. I love him a lot and we've been friends fo… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 02:15 PM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...I'm telling YOU and you're not listening lol. I'm not saying that stereotypical friendzoning / men pretending to want to be friends for a chance at sex never happens. I'm saying from personal experience it doesn't happen nearly as often as people online are saying it happens. I know of exactly one dynamic which is happening with my female friend where she genuinely likes to talk with a high school classmate of ours (while I think he's creepy, he has behaved very inappropriately and immaturely pr… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 12:10 PM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...I'm a girl and that's literally not the case. They all have lots of chances to get me alone (meaning they could ask me on a date) but they don't. I'm not complaining either way, I like them as friends but I wouldn't be opposed to a friends with benefits kind of situation with some of them. It just doesn't happen. I'm a normal looking, fit woman, I'm not to ugly to fuck or one of the guys if that was gonna be your argument. I have even become longterm friends with guys I went on a date with (happ… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 10:19 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...Who is getting paid by 'friends'? What kind of women to you associate with where you think this means they migth consider hooking up with you if a present is big enough? I hate to say it but that's on you if you still hang around a person like that (or, if you're okay with the arrangement, fine, but then we're really not talking about the same thing here). | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 10:10 AM

So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...Why are you in a debate sub if you don't actually want to debate? Obviously I was serious | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 08:28 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...Why don't want a freindship with women? Just because you have 'enough' male friends? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 08:05 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...I would agree with the first sentence, but not with any of the others. No one wants orbters, especially not if they're creepy. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 08:04 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...- The question is simple so people have a wide range of possible answers. - I'm questioning the validity of the concept by asking for experiences and not just theoretical answers. I know what the friendzone is and how it works according to redpill rhethoric, that's not what I'm interested in. - I'm trying to find out why more men seem to have struggles with their mental health. My theory right now is that their friendships with other men are focused more on positive suff and 'relaxing with the g… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 08:00 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...Thank you for this well thought out reply! :) I agree on all points and I'm starting to see how my post may not really suit the term 'friendzone', because I'm more asking about male+female friendship in general, maybe male+male friendship and how those work. However, a lot of the time being friendzoned would be the only way for a man to make a female friend... and even that brings a lot of possible problematic dynamics. I'm in Europe at Uni and I have made some male and female friends (if anyone… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 07:53 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...I mean, I know this, but some explain to me why? You hear about the suicide rates and about the bad mental health of men and how women have it easier, because the have a secure social network. But they don't want to be friends ith women? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 07:46 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...I absolutely agree, when there are romantic feelings involved. Now, we come to a problem... What exactly are romantic feelings? For me personally it means: Platonic interest + sexual attraction + mystical ingredient/chemistry = romantic feelings. This can also be different with other people. If the chemistry isn't there I could still have sex with someone, but probably wouldn't want a relationship. But some men, I think, are just sexually attracted to someone and confuse that with everthing else… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 07:43 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...Hey, so I wanted to address some answers and maybe clear a few things up: - Obviously, if you have deeper feelings for a person it can be very hurtful to be kept around and not have a clear boundary with that person. When this happens to me personally I try to cut things off from my side, because the other person can't know how much / how little being around them hurts me. - Some of you seem to imagine women who friendzone as these super hot beings that leech off of the men. I don't really under… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 07:36 AM
So, maybe this isn't controversial enough...None, per se. You just always hear that men have it harder with building lasting platonic relationships and that is a reason why the suicide rate is so high. So I'm hypothethising that that's because men who are friends with men don't show a lot of real emotions or talk about feelings because they're afraid to be made fun of. F/F friendship doesn't seem to have that problem (whether it's in my own experience, anecdotes, media), so why don't men accept friendship with women? The friendzone only m… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/04/20 07:29 AM
