Here is a non biased article with more information. From NPR, amazingly... https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2018/01/03/575403863/companies-in-iceland-now-required-to-demonstrate-they-pay-men-women-fairly

No, no, no. You're trolling all wrong. You can't just pack all the insanity into one comment. You have to spread the batshit-crazy to multiple comments to gather even more down votes. Jesus Christ.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that in any online discussion of men's rights, someone will indignantly argue that there's too much focus on men and that women's rights should also feature in the debate.

This is a rather biased, anti-transgender article. The law allows people to use the bathroom that corresponds to their self identified gender. That means if you were born a man, but identify as a woman, you will be allowed to use the woman's bathroom. This is not, as the article falsely states, men using women's restrooms. It's trans women using women's restrooms. The article shows it's bias further by referring to trans-gendered women as trans-gendered men. allowing transgender men to use the w…

In the higher levels of the game the player may need to kill women, allies and even friends for survival reasons. But... There aren't any women in Minecraft.

Right. They give no indication of how much he drank or how incapacitated he is other than that statement which implies a similar level of intoxication.

Had she been caught fondling his penis, she would be facing probation. Had he been caught fondling her vagina, he would be facing a minimum of 2 times that.

It's helpful to compare them to show the appalling disparity between the punishments. (And no, I'm not saying actual rape should be punished less)

Because I think if you ask that question to a random person the answer would be "Of course rape is worse! Are you insane??" I don't think the general population realizes the consequences of false allegations. From this discussion(including discussing what feminists might argue), some of us can now more clearly articulate their arguments and perhaps help to shed more light on the problem of false allegations.

DAE believe that a false accusation of rape leading to incarceration is potentially as devastating as an actual rape? I don't think my question implies that they are the same crime, I'm comparing the consequences(i.e. the victim devastating ones.) Maybe it's like comparing white collar crime (bank executive stealing a million dollars) to a third strike for stealing a candy bar. Not sure if that's the best example but hopefully it makes my point.

It made sense once I read the article. I'm not sure I would have done much better. Maybe: "Couple discusses woman's one year old daughter's ultimately fatal discipline over Skype; both charged with murder." The real problem I have with your title is that it implies only the man is being punished even though she actually killed the kid. Being a man and all, I'm for Men's Rights. But I think it hurts our cause when titles can be seen as misleading.

Has shared policies and procedures for holding offenders accountable and keeping victims safe across all agencies in the criminal and civil justice systems from 911 to the courts. Prioritizes the voices and experiences of women who experience battering in the creation of those policies and procedures. Believes that battering is a pattern of actions used to inte…
