I've recently become aware of the saying "The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is now." and I think it applies here. Dwelling on things you did or did not do in the past is unhealthy. The only thing that matters is how you make changes moving forward.

A couple of pieces of advice: Use Meetup Groups or similar services. I have lived in 3 different cities in the last six years and honestly wouldn't have made friends if I hadn't used Meetup. I never accused anyone of being anti-woman. And I never suggested the existence of these things made men "horrible people", so I'm not the one here jumping to conclusions. I think people interpreting study and criticism of trends in games as an all-out assault on 50% of the human race are the ones that need to calm down.

So the majority should get complete control of it simply because they are the majority, and anyone else that wants to take part has no say at all? They were the ones who created it. It was started by predominantly white and heterosexual men. Would you ever argue that only straight white men can play games? Why is gender any different?
