Yes. It stings. I like going to water parks and it was not a nice feeling when my fiancée and i wanted to go swimming on our holiday but had to go another day because it happened to be women only entire day. That being said Japanese railways are a very poor example, its a huge, complex issue and this solution is dictated by necessity.

I presume we are all here because we have noticed

Another example of how our society normalised disregarding father's input. We are to just make money and provide for the family, not to give opinions about whats good for our children

Bad bras do, yes. Core of the matter is, this is all subjective, I grew up with three women in the house, all of them choose to go bra because it actually improves their comfort and helps with their backs. That being said, it's often a bit challenging to find ones that do a good job, wearing cheap stuff is agonising

Part about braless thing stuck out to me. Its absolute bollocks. For vast percentage of women, wearing bra is a matter of health and comfort. Any normal person living in a real world knows that. Only shows how detached from reality those whackjobs are to fight against something that literally exists to support womens' well-being on daily basis.

You seem to be missing the point. Of course there is value in striving for equality. Problem is, it becomes less and less about it. Feminist movement is vastly corrupted and it's been allowed to become this way because society swept all the arising issues under the rug with "it's rooted in noble idea so it surely can't do no wrong"

Don't go about it as individual. Im sure there's a great number of people troubled by her methods. Round them up and go against her as a community. The greatest strength lies in numbers and it's especially true in universities. You have to beat them at their own game, otherwise you will be ruined.

I spoke with a feminists who insistted its okay and even preferable to pierce baby girls ears so yeah...they dont know what they want really

Meh. If she doesnt mind walking on piss let her in. Lead by example, be welcoming. If you think of it as roles being already reversed, you get to show the other side a better way.

I don't know about agenda, but the point raised speaks to me. It's true that it's really easy to lose oneself in resentment. It's worthwhile to sometimes say things like that to prompt people to reassess their attitude.

Well. That too. I just spoke with that one specific situation I know 2nd hand in mind, where mother with children from region that hasn't been yet affected at the time fled preemptively and father stayed behind. Whether he was later conscripted I dont know

Bro wtf. Women and children fled to safety while men stayed to protect their livelihoods.

Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence as I say. Don't get me wrong, I get you. It's crappy on this side, but can you really tell for sure that it's better on the other side? I believe that we all are more all less equally screwed but in different ways and most of all that grudge and contempt comes from society as well as individuals not realising that.

I had to deal with a person like that. He "identified" as a woman but didn't live by that in the slightest. He was a toxic, abusive prick and he was using these claims as free pass to be a garbage being. When I shared that observation irl, I was told "is not their business to convince you of their feelings and identity" then who else's I ask.

Very biased list at a first glance. For example, first one. Argument can be made here since from female perspective double standard is that a man who sleeps around is a stud and a champ, while woman who sleeps around is a sl*t.

Thing is: "never hit a woman" is archaic. It applied in the past when women were submit to men and were to be protected. Society ruled exclusively by men kept each other accountable with rules like this. Now when womens' rights are brought up to the ones of men, it is no longer relevant. Now women need to be held accountable as well and "never hit a woman" stands in contradiction to that neccessity. I hope I phrased my point clearly, if not please lets keep it civilised, I'm happy to rephrase/cl…

And women cant? Do they mean to say men are stronger?? Interesting

This. Complete transparency is essential for healthy and lasting relationship. Voice your concerns and find resolution togheter, if you don't, it will just fester in the back of your head and before you know it you'll unwittingly ruin things between you two.

So feminists are mad when men are all about sex, but they are also mad when men rise above it. In conclusion, feminists are mad...

Yep. At work we all struggled with a certain bar trick only my female supervisor was somehow capable of doing and with stunning results on thar. When i finally grasped it i thankfully said: "i was only able to finally pull it off after watching you so many times". To which she immedistely went "don't tell people you've been watching them. Its creepy. Some girls might carry traumas like that. I've been watched myself and it was very unpleasant" hell if i know what she meant by that but jeez. I sa…

Then maybe we should moderate the sub better?
/r/MensRights12/08/22 08:19 PM

I agree. Its good to have (somewhat) safe space to share your grievances but once it becomes the sole purpose of the sub it becomes a toxic environment, we should strive to turn it into something constructive

You perfectly described what bothers me about girls who are crazy about gay manga
/r/MensRights03/08/22 07:47 PM

The part about straight women going to gay bars and harassing gay men makes me think of "your only lesbian because you never had a really good D." But you know...reversed.

But wouldn't that make employers less inclined to hire women if it means they have to pay them more for less? That seems more like disservice to women.

Dude. You're being really disruptive and insist on hijacking the conversation. No one here is talking crap about transgender nor is dismissing their struggles, but it has nothing or at least very little to do with the subject at hand. I strongly suggest you take a step back, couple of slow deep breaths and reconsider you approach, because whatever you're trying to get across, this way won't do.

Do your research. Most feminist/woke thing you could have said xD But seriously, whatever. I cant be bothered anymore . Ive been up for nearly 40h with only 2h of sleep between. Got stuck in the airport for 12h missed my train and i won't arrive to my my holiday destination for another 2hours still so I'm gonna end this discussion here, before ny brain completely gives up. As for you sir i only wish for your day to be better than mine.

What do you mean?
/r/MensRights29/06/22 01:35 AM

It generally stems from idea that its your duty to be considerate. No, screw that. If I'm being considerate and go out of my way to act as such it's only because I want to, not because society tells me that I have too. I personally sometimes do keep distance or steer away a little bit, but just because its my own good will to do so and because I also don't like strangers walk close behind me, but I would never demand from other men to do the same.

I agree. When I first met and shortly after started dating my now fiancée she had certain "style" that was taking a lot from her natural beauty. But I was ok to look past it and eventually she slowly put it away as she grew more confident in herself and with gentle encouragement she slowly shifted away from it and she's much happier with herself and I appreciate this change too. Thing is she always knew what I do and don't like about her but never had any pressure to change, this is important. A…

I remember a conversation with few of my colleagues when subject of circumcision came up. At first it was just a simple chat but then I brought up female circumcision and they instantly went "you mean to say mutilation. Its a horrible horrible thing, causes so much harm to wamen" and i was like "hold up. Just until a minute ago y'all were perfectly fine using term circumcision when it was about boys, why you suddenly insist on emphasising mutilation when it comes to girls. How is it different?" …

Worst part is where everyone goes bonkers and shouting that "you can't be pro gender equality AND not a feminist" best part when they tell you to look in the dictionary, you look up and you're right, they are wrong and even when you point it out they are still in denial 🤣

This costs money. I imagine quite lot too at times. Personally if I was to hire an attorney and won such case I'd want to get the my money back. You think I'd be reasonable to pursue it further and sue her for what she did?

Gotta wait for development. I reckon it's just her making accusation. Although I'm affraid it's wouldn't be so difficult to manipulate couple of friends to testify against him. Adults can be such children in times like these...
