Maybe all the high profile behaviour by #somewomen: playing victim, demanding special treatment, blaming everyone but themselves and attacking men in the media makes HR departments think twice about women’s maturity and fitness for top roles? Obviously a whole gender shouldn’t be tarred with the same brush, but a lot of HR choices are based on generalisations and risk avoidance. And the women’s movements right now, including within education, don’t seem to have any intention of marginalising and…

You're right, she was no Charles Manson. Apparently she actually murdered someone ... Should we forgive and celebrate all vicious murderers with traumatic pasts? There wouldn't be many left... or are you proposing this special treatment only applies to women? Some sort of inherent weakness that makes them always the victim?

Ever considered your "doctor" might not actually be licensed or insured right now? Sounds like a confidence man.

This is a very good idea. Care needs to be taken to not be seen as a parody or reactionary to SRS. Also strictly no engagement with the subs we link to (brigading) Just a place to point out and discuss all the casual sexism against men.

That doesn't really make a lot of sense to me. In my experience the girl who hasn't responded is in limbo. The longer it goes on the more preoccupied I become with her. The next interaction, or lack of after a certain point, makes or breaks it.

I do it, does that not make me worth theirs? Responding instantly comes off as too available/keen, which is a red flag for me. This is a unique interaction between two people who don't know each other at all. Play the game a bit, there's a bit of a thrill to it, thinking what she/he is thinking about your silence. The worst that happens is she/he thinks your carefully filtering and testing potential partners. That in itself is a good filtering mechanism for the kind of partners I like.

Well... going off that data, it looks like the kids are going to be safer with the woman... Just sayin ... (as a risk-taking genetically disposable father)

Women are ruthless, men are ruthless, women are caring empathetic and romantic, men are caring empathetic and romantic... There's more behaviour in common with those types than within the gender. There's a massive amount of selection bias going on in here.., Get over your shitty experiences with shitty women, stop bitching and become a man that the kind of woman you want would be into. Or go after men, or become a monk, whatever... But these epic pathetic rants achieve nothing. If you've been bu…

I'm new to this sub but what is she admitting? I've said the same things as a man about women. Even to friends I'd see myself settling down with. Girls want to fuck warriors, but as women, want to have children with stable providers. Boys want to fuck sluts, but as men, want to settle down with a good woman. I think it is more true that men don't change their 'stripes' as much. The warrior badboys rarely turn into the dependable provider father. But a lot of sluts settle down to become the faith…

Oh come on. Everyone settles for less. I've made mutual agreements to that effect with female friends. Still wasn't ready to settle down when she reminded me we had reached our 30 pact though hah. But surely everyone does this? I guess it you were always desperate, never met a "good enough, great girl could totally love her but think I could do better", then you could see this as some evil manipulative woman... but what a weak, sad psychological position to operate from.

I've come in way late but these last two comments just really strike me as coming from a female impersonating her idea of a perfect male and misunderstanding some fundamental differences.

Why? I often take a woman clothes shopping. They enjoy it and give advice on what looks good. What about the shop-woman?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
