Even if the age of consent is reached, the person is still a minor. Second, even if consent was given, the teacher is in a position of authority over the student, it’s considered institutional sexual assault. The teacher can have influence over the student’s ability to give consent...like issue bad grades or affect the student’s standing in the school.

The difference between Brad Pitt and Sarah was that she knows Sarah personally and the Brad Pitt Fantasy was not supposed to be taken seriously. She now feels that she is less desirable and that he’d rather be with Sarah. She shouldn’t have shared this because she sounds way more immature and insecure for having done so and should enjoy her relationship with him and trust him that he loves her.

If they get away with it, it's most likely no one contested it legally. If you found a lawyer willing to take up a case and a judge willing to hear it, you have a case. Good luck finding a lawyer and a judge willing to put their reputations on the line to fight a cover charge in court.
