Justice and the judicial system IS violence. There is not that big of a difference except we believe and are being told it's impartial and equal for everyone. Under examination (not even a close one) you will see that this believe is just not true. Why would you need to be taught that lynching is a bad thing if it didn't undermine the established system? I love this place. Dali was my personal highlight in China. I love how the new and old city is seperated by a few miles so you could essentially live in a modern city but visit an ancient one whenever you feel like it. Also the food was great except their "almost raw" meat slices, ugh. The seafood is good though. Enjoy your stay bro! Why not visit the Tibetan part of Yunnan while at it? The famous Shangri La is close by
