The person who left the original comment was purposely ignoring any women who dare participate in objectifying bodies. So yes, I did want to step in and show, hey I am a woman and I sexualize men’s bodies sometimes, this is not a one-sided thing. And I was called a pickme. I dont see how identifying myself as a woman who participated in an activity, when the controversy at stake is “can women participate in this activity?” is considered “pick me”. In this instance I think my gender + my sexualit…

I wanted to not respond to this thread anymore, but I cant take it. Make it broader than catcalling. I’ve still never been hit on, asked for my number, been given a cheesy pickup line, or been sincerely complimented by a stranger in my life. I’ve had relationships, but never been asked out. I had to ask out every guy I’ve been in a relationship with, and of the 8 guys I asked, 6 rejected me. I am always denied male attention. Just let me have this one, I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel here.…

I’m a straight woman and voted on this, thinking about what my ideal male partners look like, guess I objectify women now.

I am 5’3 and an average weight. I present myself in a traditionally feminine way. I dont dress modestly. Only thing I can think of is I don’t wear makeup…. I have come to accept that I won’t ever be a beautiful stunner. It is what it is. I would still love to feel like one, even for a moment.

Listen, maybe you get catcalled every day and it does bother you, and im sorry, Im really trying to empathize… but you must have no idea what it feels like to be so.. left out of something. ALL my friends have multiple stories of getting hit on and catcalled by men on the street. And theres continuously more stories. Each time they tell me, I just keep questioning, why hasn’t it happened to me? Why do these men try to catch my friends’ attention (albeit in a rude way) but never mine? And obvious…

I’m actually a woman and I feel like an anomaly because I have never received unsolicited male attention in my life. Not once. Never been hit on, touched, catcalled, asked for my number… I don’t even think I’m an unattractive woman. Whenever all my friends come tell me “oh my god this guy catcalled me just now, how gross is that?…” on the outside, of course I will share her feelings and say “oh ew, sorry that happened to you..” but on the inside im seething! Im so jealous, if any guy complimente…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
